    As you enter Zues you are greeted by a well-equipped and beautifully furnished apartment. The apartment has an open plan living area, which means you are not missing out on the fun whilst you are cooking. There is a double bedroom and a lovely bathroom with a shower. Zues has an outside seating area where you can relax with your morning coffee or maybe a glass of wine in the evening.
    What is truly amazing about Zues is that you can walk to the beach in under 10 minutes. There are many bars and restaurants locally, some on the seafront itself and there is a fabulous cocktail bar on the high street. You can pick up your groceries here as there are two supermarkets in Sandown and corner shops too. There is a revetment walkway from Sandown which takes you to the neighbouring resort of Shanklin. Here you will find the famous Old Village and Shanklin Chine. There are great transport links in Sandown, you can ride the train and visit Ryde, a Victorian town with many bars and restaurants. Or you can hop on a bus to explore the island; in the summer months, there is an open top bus.
    The Isle of Wight has lots of must-see attractions including Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest amusement park and The Needles, the island’s iconic landmark attraction. And of course, Osborne House, home to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. When you jump on board the ferry, your holiday to this beautiful island starts. Beach ½ mile. Pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

The coastal path takes you to the public lift in Shanklin where you can find cafés, ice cream shops, crazy golf and amusement arcades.

    Picturesque Winkle Street in Calbourne was originally known as Barrington Row, and it was named after the Barrington family who owned the estate when the first cottages were built in the 1750’s. You will almost certainly be visited by families of ducks that will be eager to be fed. Just a couple of minutes’ drive and you will find Calbourne Water Mill and Rural Museum. Set in 35 acres of rural landscape, this is the only working water mill on the Isle of Wight. Calbourne offers good accessibility by bicycle to the Military Road which is a cyclist’s paradise. There is a secure bike storage should you require. Head on to the west coast of the Isle of Wight where you will find the ancient town of Yarmouth with its plentiful restaurants, shops and bars.
    Further west and you will find the most beautiful beaches, along with the iconic, famous landmark attraction, The Needles, which has so much more to enjoy than the stunning views - it is a destination not to be missed. The village also has a great pub which also serves delicious food. There are many cycle trails from the village which will take you through beautiful rolling scenery. The “Island” as locals refer to it, has so much to offer such as The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay.
