These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Set in the peaceful village of North Somercotes on the Lincolnshire coast between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes, this detached bungalow, situated close to the owner’s home, offers an ideal location for a relaxing holiday or a comfortable base from which to explore the area. North Somercotes is one of the larger villages in the area and has several shops, takeaways, 2 pubs, a licensed restaurant, hairdressers and beauty facilities. North Somercotes is 15 miles south of Cleethorpes, a popular holiday resort including the theme park Pleasure Island, the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway and other attractions. The village is only 8 miles from the Georgian town of Louth which still boasts 3 markets a week, with the very impressive St James Church, Hubbards Hills picnic area and beauty spot, as well as a cinema, leisure centre and many excellent restaurants and pubs. Mablethorpe, 11 miles, is only a short drive away and has sandy beaches along with all your normal seaside attractions including a fun fair and amusements. Grimsby has a Fishing Heritage Centre, as well as very good shopping facilities. Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary is within 2 miles and from late October to late December seals congregate to have their pups here (1798 pups in 2014). Seals are very close to the public viewing areas, making Donna Nook one of the most accessible sites for seeing seals breeding in the UK. It attracts 40,000 visitors a year. Good walks and cycle routes are straight from the door with fishing and golf courses all within a short drive. Horse riding is available nearby and the surrounding areas offer lessons, trekking and livery. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Gunby Hall is 7 miles and Tattersall Castle 15 miles, both National Trust. Horncastle, famous for antiques, is 15 miles and the medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is 40 miles. The properties are just 2 miles from Burgh le Marsh and only 5 miles from the seaside resort of Skegness with its excellent sandy beaches, fun fair, amusements, theatre, a seal sanctuary and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Each lodge has its own private hot tub positioned on the decked veranda overlooking the fishing lakes, which are all well stocked with mature carp up to 20lbs, barble up to 11lbs and bream up to 7lbs, as well as crucian carp, chub, tench, ide, rudd, roach and perch. For those that don’t want to fish, there is plenty to see and do in the area. Attractions in the area include the Lincolnshire Wolds, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby or Horncastle, a 30-minute drive, which is famous for its many antique and collectables shops. Lincoln Cathedral, where ’The Da Vinci Code’ was filmed with Tom Hanks, is about an hour’s drive and there are many excellent walks and cycle routes throughout the area. Beach 5 miles. Situated across the road from the bowling green and only a short walk onto the seafront and the sandy beach, La Falda provides comfortable, detached accommodation for all the family. With the beach, shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways all close by there is no need to use the car unless you want to. The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is less than 2 miles away. If you want to explore further along the coast, the busy traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles are all worth a day out. Anderby Creek has a café, beach shop and pub and is undoubtably one of the best destinations to be found along this stretch of coast in between the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe. Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is within walking distance and is well known for its unspoilt coastline that runs southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. The impressive views along with the sheer scale and diversity of wildlife makes it well worth visiting at all times of the year. There is also a visitor centre and café for refreshment.
Skegness is a fantastic traditional seaside resort and has something for all the family to enjoy from its funfair, amusements, aquarium and award winning sandy beaches to its range of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Watching the Banger racing is sure to make for a fun family day out and in the summer you can enjoy a donkey ride along the beach. An 18-hole links golf course is also within a mile.
Alternatively head inland to the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Natural Beauty, and explore the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. Enjoy the motor racing at Cadwell Park, the horse racing at Market Rasen or even a day out in the City of Lincoln, famous for its Cathedral and Castle. Enjoying a rural location on the edge of the owners farm there are lovely walks straight from the door with the nearby nature reserve offering many miles of peaceful walks. Beach 1 mile. A lovely location for a family holiday close to the beach. Sandilands has been popular for many generations of families to visit the coast and this lovely bungalow is situated in a quiet residential area approximately 500 yards walk from the beach – you can see the dunes from the back garden. Within a short walk is the beach, shop, pub, nature reserve and Sandilands colourful beach huts. For days out you can walk or cycle along the seafront to Sutton on Sea or further on to the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe. A bus trip takes you along the coast to Anderby Creek, the café/observatory at Huttoft or stop at Chapel St Leonards. Fantasy Island, Butlins and Skegness are all within 30 minutes’ drive for family days out or enjoy the bus ride to them along the coast.
