Situated on a country lane (no through road), this property enjoys some of the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets and is close to the market town of Horncastle, which is also well known for its antique and collectables shops. The Georgian market town of Louth is just 10 miles away and still has three markets a week, as well as boutique shops and cafés. To the east are the year round dog friendly sandy beaches at the traditional seaside resort of Skegness and the city of Lincoln, which is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Visitor Centre is a 30-minute drive to the west. The battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Visitor Centre is about 20 minutes away, where the planes can often be spotted over The Lincolnshire Wolds. Beach 18 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Wits End Cottage is close to Woodhall Spa and Horncastle, and is only 25 minutes into the city of Lincoln and about a 30-minute drive to the traditional seaside resort of Skegness. For days out by car, on foot or by bicycle, the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is close by. From the doorstep are good walks and cycle routes, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight for WWII enthusiasts is at Coningsby, just a 15-minute drive. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

This lovely barn conversion offers ground floor accommodation for up to 4 guests. Brook House Farm Cottage is situated on the owner’s farm which boasts its own horse stud and livery yard. The cottage building dates back to 1791 and was converted in 2008 to provide comfortable, modern accommodation.
There are lovely walks straight from the door into the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and plenty of cycle routes in abundance throughout the area. Motoring enthusiasts will enjoy Cadwell Park race circuit which is about a mile away. A half hour drive away, there are great days out to be had on the east coast, with miles of walks along award winning sandy beaches and the traditional resorts of Skegness, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe.
The Lincolnshire Wolds market towns of Louth and Horncastle are both about 7 miles away and have a good selection of shops and amenities. Horncastle is well known for its range of antique and collectables shops. Inland is the city of Lincoln, about 30-minutes drive, with its famous cathedral and castle as well as the vibrant wharf area with restaurants and cafés to relax in and watch the world go by. With a large enclosed courtyard for relaxing in after a day exploring, and only 250 yards from the centre of the village with its shops, restaurants, pubs and traditional amusements; there is something for everyone to enjoy in this popular coastal village. You can enjoy a coffee and food in the North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point and take in the uninterrupted views across the beach and sea. Travel into the traditional seaside resort of Skegness, with entertainment for everyone during both day and night. Butlins or Fantasy Island offer great days out, whilst inland, there is the Georgian market town of Louth and the Lincolnshire Wolds.

There are good walks and cycle routes throughout the area, with the coast road to Anderby Creek and Sandilands a popular route. Beach 50 yards, Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Many miles of sandy walks await you along the unspoilt beaches with the Seascape Observatory Café being a popular spot for refreshment on your walks. There are endless, quiet, unspoilt beaches along this stretch of coast from Skegness to Mablethorpe, offering fabulous walks alongside the sea. The promenade stretch from Sandilands to Mablethorpe is very popular, with bus stops at both ends. A bus stop at the entrance to the Park means it is straightforward to leave the car and journey along the coast to see Skegness, Huttoft Bank, Anderby Creek, Sandilands, Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe for days out.
Skegness is the nearest large town and is a traditional seaside resort that many generations of visitors have enjoyed, and has everything from the funfair, seal sanctuary, aquarium, cinema and the pier to enjoy. Shops, pubs, restaurants and beach all within ½ mile.
