Just 10 minutes’ drive from Skegness are the long white sands of the east coast. Off road parking in designated areas right outside the farmhouse affords easy access for loading and unloading luggage and shopping.
There is plenty to see and do in and around the area. Less than a mile away is a good pub for families, which serves both food and drink. The closest beach for lazy summer walks, building sandcastles, sunbathing or indulging in bracing winter wanderings, is 10 minutes away by road, and the nearest golf course, North Shore, is the same distance away. Keen fishermen will enjoy the coarse fishing lakes just 300 yards away.
The town of Skegness has all the facilities you would expect of an established seaside town and modern commercial centre - shops, bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, cinema, theatre, fun fair, seaside amusements, park, aquarium, sports and fishing facilities, as well as a hospital and excellent road and rail links. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Tucked away on a quiet country lane just 5 miles from the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards is this spacious bungalow ideal for a family break with a large garden including a big summerhouse and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

Within 30 minutes is the east coast with its Blue Flag sandy beaches and traditional seaside resorts including Gibraltar Point nature reserve. Visit the Boston Stump or travel to Horncastle for its numerous antique and collectibles shops to browse. WWII enthusiasts can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby and enjoy watching the Lancaster Bomber ’Just Jane’ doing taxi runs at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby about 15 minutes drive away.

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is within walking distance and is well known for its unspoilt coastline that runs southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. Skegness is a fantastic traditional seaside resort and has something for all the family to enjoy from its funfair, amusements, aquarium and award winning sandy beaches to its range of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Watching the Banger racing is sure to make for a fun family day out and in the summer you can enjoy a donkey ride along the beach. An 18-hole links golf course is also within a mile.
Alternatively head inland to the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Natural Beauty, and explore the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. Enjoy the motor racing at Cadwell Park, the horse racing at Market Rasen or even a day out in the City of Lincoln, famous for its Cathedral and Castle.
