Grange Farm is in the countryside stewardship scheme which aims to preserve the existing flora, fauna and landscape and is traversed by the Viking Way and the New Cole Way allowing both hikers and riders access to the local grid of footpaths and bridleways. There is a local tea room close by, that is open 7 days a week and is ideal for a quiet afternoon cuppa. The Lincolnshire coast and the resorts of Cleethorpes, Skegness and Mablethorpe are easily accessible as is Lincoln with its castle and medieval cathedral. The properties (except 29579) have all received a Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award. Within the grounds of the farm, these holiday properties offer coarse fishing on the farm lake, as well as many excellent walks and fantastic views across the countryside.
On the edge of the village of North Willingham, the barns provide an excellent base for exploring. Just 3½ miles from Market Rasen with its world famous racecourse, excellent range of restaurants, pubs, shops and market. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian town of Louth with two busy market days a week. A visit to the sandy beaches at Mablethorpe or Skegness are always worth a day out, as is a visit to Lincoln Cathedral and the Bailgate area used in the filming of the ‘Da Vinci Code’. Situated in the family, coastal resort of Sutton-on-Sea, on the main road where it joins Sandilands, these single-storey properties provide a lovely base for a holiday. Drift Wood and Sea Shells (refs 29958 and 29959) are attached and Crab Cottage (ref 29960) is detached – they all offer fantastic holiday accommodation. The area has a lot of activities for everyone, with the coastal resort of Mablethorpe close by and Sandilands golf course is 1 mile away. With the sandy beaches within walking distance and shops and pub also a stroll away, there is no need to use the car, but if you want to explore further along the coast, the busy seaside resort of Skegness is 14 miles away, the market towns of Alford, 7 miles and Louth, 20 miles, are all worth a day out. There is also a nearby bus stop which is the main bus route from Skegness to Mablethorpe. There is a popular hotel with a bar close by with two tennis courts. Free fishing is also available nearby.
