The site is just 8 miles from the centre of Filey which has a wonderful stretch of beach that goes for over 5 miles down the coast. The seaside town of Filey has been visited for generations by lots of families attracted by the beach and the traditional seaside resort. The cobble landing leads down to the Filey Brigg where you see many children rock pooling. On the clifftops is the end of the Cleveland Way walk, with many a weary walker sitting on the clifftops after completing the walk. The walks among the clifftops are stunning and some of the best available down the East Coast. To the south you have the RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs, and you’ll see all the migrating birds from puffins to guillemots and kittiwakes.
