The village also hosts the Grassington Festival, where well known stars perform, or near Christmas it holds the Dickensian Festival to really get people in a festive mood. Tom’s Barn has been lovingly restored and stands proudly on a hill, and the living room is upstairs to take advantage of the glorious views, both inside, with fantastic Cruck beams, and outside, over the hills to the moors above Hebden Gill.

    This is a peaceful location ideal for getting away from the bustle of everyday life, with fantastic walks direct from the door, and for cyclists this is Tour De France country. The grounds lead on to ’fairyland’, a special area of oak and ash trees, bluebells and foxgloves, a beautiful wild and dramatic place.

    For shopaholics, the famous spa town of Harrogate is a half an hour drive away. Here, you will find the normal high street shops and also high end fashion, or take time to have a traditional afternoon tea at Betty’s tea room. A little further afield lies the historic city of York with its Minster, museums and quaint cobbled streets. Shops and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

    This beautiful cottage dating from the early 1900’s offers a comfortable stay in the charming little village of Linton Falls which is set just outside the market town of Grassington which is all full of history, character and stunning architecture. This terraced cottage has plenty of character also with a large fireplace and open fire in the living room which offers both friends and families a fantastic holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
    Clouds End is set over two levels, you enter the property through the hallway instantly giving you that country cottage feel. To the right of the hallway, you have the living room which is a lovely comfortable space where you can relax and snuggle up in front of the open fire which will keep you warm on those colder evenings. To the end of the hallway is the well-equipped, well presented country style kitchen/diner which has plenty of room for food preparation as well as a dining table and chairs great for sitting down with family for a meal or socialising with friends. To the rear of the property accessed from the kitchen you have a cute little sunroom which is ideal to sit and have breakfast in as it’s a sun trap on a morning, you can also use this area to securely store bicycles.
    On the second floor is the beautifully presented master bedroom which offers a plush kingsize bed. The second bedroom has a double zip and link bed which can be changed to twin beds on request, this bedroom also offers a wash basin adding to the old cottage feel of the property. On the same floor you have the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and Heated towel rail.
    A quaint 14th Century packhorse footbridge across the river (known locally as Little Emily’s Bridge) is just a moment’s walk away which is a must. Enjoy a short stroll along the footpath to the pretty village of Grassington. With Linton Falls situated within the Yorkshire Dales you have instant access to scenic walks and fantastic bike trails. Alternatively, from the grounds of the 12th-century church is access to the steppingstones across the river and a path through the fields leading to Hebden and Burnsall, you will discover many picnic spots along the way. Linton has a country inn renowned for its fine ales and excellent food with the surrounding villages offering plenty of choice for dining out. Slightly further afield you have beautiful market town Skipton known as ‘The Gateway to the dales’ or the fashionable spa town Harrogate, both bursting with independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs.
