    The interior is full of character and even features wooden panelling in the open plan living area where you can relax in front of the TV in one of the deep comfortable armchairs or settee. The country style kitchen offers a full range of culinary amenities and a cosy seating area with more than enough seating for three. From here a door leads out to a small patio area. Make your way to the first floor and you will find a double and single bedroom. Both of which are decorated in neutral tones and provide high end soft furnishings.     A day exploring Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills is an absolute must. For a little culture you can spend time exploring the historic city of York with its cobbled streets and magnificent minster or enjoy the many independent shops, tea rooms, cafés and restaurants in Malton and Helmsley which are arguably two of Yorkshires finest town’s. Just under an hour away are the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough; perfect for the summer months or a windy winter walk along the promenade.
