A stone’s throw from the popular destinations including Daylesford, Blenheim Palace, Bourton-on-the-Water, Soho Farmhouse and Jeremy Clarksons Diddly Squat farm shop and café, this popular Cotswold village offers everything you could wish for from a Cotswolds getaway.
Wind your way down the garden path to the entrance of Patience Cottage. Step through the entrance lobby and you are greeted by an open plan living/dining room brimming with character from the exposed stonework to the cosy fireplace housing the wood burner to enjoy on the cooler evenings. The well-equipped beautifully designed kitchen is to the rear of the ground floor. The large modern shower room is conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs, and the soft White Company bath sheets will wrap you in refreshing luxury. Two bright and characterful, well-appointed bedrooms are on the first floor with exposed beams and view over the garden. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with EVE mattress whilst the second bedroom is furnished with a double bed. Sink into the luxurious 100% cotton sheets and down duvets and enjoy your holiday relaxation. The master bedroom has a choice of 4.5, 9 or 13.5 tog duvets.
The enclosed garden and outdoor seating area is to the front of the property where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink in peaceful surroundings.

This shepherds hut is the perfect place for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside, you’ll enjoy visiting at any time of the year be it for a couple of nights or a week-long stay.
The village of Bampton is approximately 1.5 miles and is where some scenes of Downton Abbey are filmed, you can visit the gift shop for some memorabilia. The village also famously boasts three Morris dancing teams which can be seen during the summer, their main event taking place on the spring bank holiday weekend where you can also enjoy other traditional events including the great original annual shirt race, May garlands and a flower festival. There are many country walks and cycling paths to enjoy from both Molly The Shepherds Hut and Bampton.
For more local amenities, Witney is just a short drive away and the historic city of Oxford is just over 20 miles away where you can explore the historic buildings, go punting on the river, eat and shop in the many independent and high street cafés, restaurants and shops. You are also a stone’s throw from the Cotswolds with Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Chipping Norton within half an hour’s drive. Carp and trout fishing is available just 8 miles away. If it’s shopping you’re after, you can take a trip to Swindon or Bicester where you will find many bargains at the outlet shopping villages. On the banks of the Thames, Abingdon, purported to be the oldest town in England, is steeped in history with many fine old buildings. Oxford is the city of dreaming spires famous for its university, the Bodleian Library and Inspector Morse. A little further afield, but still within easy driving distance, guests will be able to visit Stow-on-the-Wold, the historic University of Oxford, Silverstone; famous for the British Grand Prix, Bicester shopping village, Chipping Norton, Warwick Castle, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
