SeaTrees is found in the delightful village of Corton, near Lowestoft, in Suffolk, the most easterly point in the UK. SeaTrees is surrounded by numerous areas for walking, making it especially popular with those who like to be close to nature, and it is also perfect for dog walking. The coastline and award-winning beaches offer an ideal location for a coastal holiday, and is also famous for stunning sunrises, should weather conditions permit. Inland you are on the doorstep of the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads National Park and Oulton Broad. Lowestoft has two popular piers, one holds classic seaside entertainment and the other has an all year round restaurant with wonderful views of Lowestoft’s beautiful sandy beach, as you would expect from this seaside destination. Corton lies just north of Lowestoft, the most easterly point of the UK. Beachwood is set amongst a secluded woodland setting and has frontline sea views. It is also considered to be the one with the most private, quiet and secluded settings. The photographs of the interiors speak for themselves. The kitchen is well equipped according to our many extremely satisfied guests to date. Tea coffee and milk is provided so guests don’t arrive late and find they can’t make a hot drink. The huge decking stretches to the cliff edge with views onto the award-winning beach. Stunning sunrises each morning which, should you so wish, can be watched while you relax in the hot tub! At night it lights up via a button. String lights have now been installed which are on a timer, which creates a wonderful evening ambience. The beach is never busy which makes for relaxing walks in both summer and winter and is accessed via a lovely short walk through the woods. It is also a dog friendly beach year-round. There are no shops or plastic swings and slides at Ocean Glade. It is very peaceful, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a pub a 10-minute walk into the centre of the village which serves food, plus a small shop which also sells newspapers and a Chinese takeaway that only takes cash. There is a shopping complex a few minutes’ drive away with plenty of free parking.
Beachwood is ideally located to explore both Suffolk and Norfolk. Visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, with its southern gateway, Oulton Broad, just a short drive away, with good restaurants and a wine bar. Lowestoft is an old-fashioned traditional town offering shopping, beaches, two piers with family entertainment and restaurants. The popular town of Southwold is about a 35-minute drive away. There is so much to do and see in the area and you would be advised to google your preferences for details etc. Far too much to write here!

With local views across the Blyth estuary and close to the ever popular town of Southwold, Hogsnorting Villa is the perfect base to explore the Suffolk countryside and coast.
There is a lovely pub and restaurant just 150 metres from the cottage and boasts stunning views of the mere from its large garden. Pop across the road to see the famous carved angels on the ceiling of Holy Trinity Church, the Cathedral of the Marshes.
Explore the area on foot via the network of footpaths. From the rear of the pub take the footpath alongside the estuary that follows the old railway line, through a nature reserve, to the beach at Warblerswick. Or head inland from the recreated Blythburgh station to Wenhaston and beyond.
The delights of Southwold, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich Heath, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh are just a short drive away, as are Valley Farm Vineyards at Wisset and the cheese room at Friday Street farm shop near Farnham is a must.

Outside is a lovely garden with seating area perfect for barbecue and al fresco dining. Situated in a peaceful village location with a great village pub a few minutes’ walk away. A perfect location to take a moment and recharge, but still having a wealth of activities and attractions to explore on the doorstep. Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with unspoilt countryside rich with wildlife and the unique market town of Beccles just a mile away or approximately 28 minutes walking distance. The local area offers plenty of great walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep, where you have miles of tracks to explore, so be sure to bring your binoculars as it’s a great place to view the abundance of wildlife and offers great fishing opportunities. Just 400 yards from the cottage onto Marsh Lane is a footpath where you can walk alongside the river. The village of Gillingham sits on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, located in the Broads National Park where the River Waveney runs through. Beccles town offers independent boutiques and chain shops, a great collection of eateries including fine dining and many cafés serving home made cakes and savouries. The weekly market is excellent for all things local should you wish to enjoy a night of cooking and dining in. The Broads National Park is very popular, best enjoyed on the waterways with kayaks, canoes and day boat motor launches for a more leisurely pace. Alternatively sit back and enjoy a guided boat tour, where you can just soak up the incredible national park. Don’t forget to enjoy a swim at the local Lido open air heated swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers. Norwich (18 miles) a bustling cathedral city with culture, heritage, excellent shopping and entertainment for all. Watch the weekly speed boat racing (in season) on Oulton Broad, 9 miles. Suffolk Heritage Coastline, famous Southwold for the pier, lighthouse, beach and fresh seafood eateries, 15 miles, and Walberswick RSPB reserve, 14 miles. Golf course within 1½ miles. The Nest is a beautiful, self-contained one-bedroom cottage situated next to the main farmhouse. It can sleep up to three adults or two adults with two children. It’s the perfect location for those wishing to explore the local area and is ideal for those interested in walking and wildlife. The living room is a former conservatory with a cosy roof and has underfloor heating to ensure comfort all year round. The living room has a double sofa bed, TV and dining table. You’ll also find a selection of games and toys to keep you entertained, and books and maps to help you whilst exploring the area. The small but perfectly formed kitchen has everything you need, with a full oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. You’ll find some of the basics such as cooking oil, salt, pepper etc already in the cupboards. The bedroom features a super kingsize bed, reading lights, built-in wardrobes with a full-length mirror and French doors opening up onto the private garden. It’s a bright and airy room, but once you’ve drawn the curtains and dimmed the lights it’s the ideal place to cosy up with a good book. Just off the bedroom is a large shower room, with a walk-in shower, twin vanity units and toilet. The garden has a seating area, with gas BBQ and a chimnea with views out across the farm fields allowing you to listen to the birdsong.
We’ve made sure you don’t need to pack too heavily, with games, toys for the kids, DVDs, books, picnic blanket, flask, Tupperware, children’s cups, plates and cutlery all provided. We can even lend camping chairs, beach shelters and buckets and spades if needed. Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten your four-legged friend, there’s bowls, blankets, poo bags and a little treat ready for their arrival too.
Located in the heart of Suffolk Coast’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Nest is the perfect retreat for those wishing to explore the area. Situated discreetly off a private farm track, well away from the busy roads and directly on the Sandlings Walk, it’s ideal for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. The Nest is just 1½ miles from Aldeburgh town, which has an array of pubs, cafés, shops and plenty of other facilities. The nearest pubs are in Knodishall and Aldringham, only a 5-minute drive away or can be reached via country footpaths.
Popular places such as Thorpeness, Southwold, Minsmere Nature Reserve, Orford, Woodbridge and Framlingham are all within a 35-minute drive. One (two smaller dogs considered), well-behaved dog is permitted during your stay. Dogs must be kept under control at all times and be cleaned up after. May Cottage is a tastefully renovated cottage on one level in a rural location with contemporary furnishings throughout and a sunny rear garden. Rendham’s traditional village pub, serving local beers and good food, is just steps from the self-catering cottage and the historic village church is across the road. This semi-detached cottage with patio garden is well laid out with the dining room at the heart and the kitchen leading off of it to one side and the living room to the other with a hatch between the two. There are two bedrooms, one with a super king zip and link bed with a separate shower room and the other bedroom with a kingsized bed and an en-suite bathroom.
Ideal for couples and small families wanting to explore the Suffolk Coastal “Area of Natural Beauty”, Rendham is within easy reach of the picturesque seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Orford, and the market town of Framlingham. There are two local pubs; one within a stone’s throw of the cottage, the other a 9 minute walk up the road. Shops: Saxmundham 2½ miles, Framlingham 5 miles. Beach 10 miles.

Perfect for families, friends and couples, this refurbished 2021 property could not be in a better position in Southwold, only yards away from the nearest beach and within easy reach of all that Southwold has to offer.

Southwold has a wide range of great shops, cafés, delis, pubs and restaurants within stumbling distance. so you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to dining. Alternatively, visit one of the independent grocers, bakers and butchers and cook up a storm.

A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier; dating back to the 1900’s, this was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. You can also visit the lighthouse - this is a distinctive landmark at the centre of the town and has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s. A great location for nature lovers and twitchers, just a 25-minute drive to RSPB Minsmere where you can discover some of the UK’s rarest wildlife and enjoy family-friendly activities.
