Scarborough and Bridlington are both within a short drive, both larger and busier than Filey and with plenty of attractions to visit, including leisure centres, waterparks, theatres, a SeaLife Centre and lots more.

The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is just a short drive away, where you can spot thousands of migrating seabirds from the viewing points along the clifftops. The ever popular puffins attract overseas visitors, and in the spring and summer months you can catch the puffin boat ‘The Yorkshire Belle’ and sail to the foot of the cliffs to get a close up view of the birds, a fantastic opportunity for nature lovers.
