This stylish, detached, converted barn is just a few hundred yards from the heart of Chipping Campden. As the main town in the north-western area of the Cotswolds of high hills and secluded coomb (with its magnificent ’wool’ church, wide market street and beautiful buildings that span at least five centuries), this would make the perfect base from which to tour and explore. With an acre of grounds and ample parking for visitors, Campden Barn offers a high level of comfort with limestone flooring in bathrooms and underfloor heating on both floors of the property.
The magnificent gardens of Kiftsgate Court and Hidcote Manor - with its lovely views over the Vale of Evesham - are not to be missed, as well as many other National Trust properties in the locality; Stratford-upon-Avon (approximately 8 miles), shops, restaurants and pubs, 200 yards.

Amidst the rolling uplands of the South Cotswolds, this spacious cottage boasts a large paddock-style garden. The Pump House is served by the well stocked community run shop, two pubs and post office in the pleasant village of Hawkesbury Upton. This area of the South Cotswolds has easy access to the M4 and M5. Within a 20 mile radius you can visit stunning, architectural Georgian Bath with Thermae Spa and Bath Abbey, Bristol with the SS Great Britain, We the Curious, Bristol suspension bridge, or travel to Gloucester and visit the Cathedral, The Quays for shopping, Bowood House in Chippenham and Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust. The TV series, ’Bridgerton’, was filmed in Bath and Bristol, and some filming was carried out in Badminton, the next village to The Pump House. Or more locally, within 10 miles, the historic town of Tetbury, the market town of Wotton-under-Edge, or visit the farmers market in Stroud, Westonbirt Aboretum, Dyrham Park and for fans of Poldark, you can visit Chavenage House and Horton Court. The Pump House is well placed for a holiday touring this beautiful area either by car, bike or foot. The Cotswold Way is only ½ mile from The Pump House, and there are many outstanding walks on the doorstep. Or if you just want take in the view there is plenty of outside space, The Pump House and the owners property next door sits, within a few acres of grounds, where the chickens roam free all year and the sheep part of the year.

Situated on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Dean within a working sheep farm, this detached holiday cottage is ideally located to enjoy and explore all that the surroundings have to offer. Activities in abundance are available in the forest and within the Wye Valley. Idyllic walks, cycling/mountain biking with a marked route in the forest, adventure parks such as Puzzlewood and Go Ape, steam railway and caving at Clearwell Caves are all within easy reach. Visit Symonds Yat and Yat Rock for wonderful scenery and rock climbing, also famous for its nesting peregrine falcons. Canoeing and fishing are available along the River Wye. There are many castles to visit, and the cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester are within easy driving distance. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Chestnut Lodge is a mid-terrace property over three floors. It has the space and facilities for up to 8 adults and a baby. Tetbury and Castle Combe are around 25 minutes away, where you can enjoy a spot of lunch in some of their wonderful traditional English pubs, followed by a walk around the beautiful Cotswold villages dotted around the area. Stone Henge, Amesbury and Avebury can all be reached within an hour’s drive, and are sure to make for fun filled days out. Beyond your trendy retreat and within easy reach you will find many famous Cotswold villages and towns such as Cirencester, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Cheltenham and Bath. The Cotswold Water Park just along the lane also offers a host of activities including water skiing, cable skiing, archery, shooting, paintballing, golf, aerial adventure, angling, horse riding, sailing, canoeing and rally driving. You can sit and chat at the kitchen island whilst cooking up a storm, or grab the popcorn and retreat to the snug area, which boasts snuggle blankets, cushions and beanbags for a movie marathon. Why not open the trivial pursuit game after some fine dining, or get the whole clan competing at a table football competition? In addition, a conservatory that looks onto the garden terrace and forest views beyond, floods the room with light during the day and makes for a lovely spot to read the paper or escape in a good book. On those long balmy summer evenings, fire up the BBQ and take dinner al fresco on the terrace, that overlooks the River Lyd.
If you decide to venture beyond, your local village of Whitecroft offers two traditional country inns offering food and beverages, plus a local shop great for stocking up on some essentials. If country pursuits and adventure is on the agenda, then you won’t be disappointed, there are scenic rambling routes in abundance. Less than 10 miles from Claysun House, you have a plethora of activities. From kayaking and river boat cruises at Symonds Yat, rock climbing, treetop adventures at GoApe, to underworld caving at Clearwell.
After a day of rambling and forest pursuits, there is also a fully equipped utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer for your muddy boots and Barbours to be laundered for your next day of adventures. How ever you choose to spend your time at Claysun House, memories that last a lifetime will certainly be made.

This fabulous barn conversion which has been renovated over 2019/2020 is an ideal place for friends or larger families. Set in Bream, the property is a great base for exploring the Forest of Dean.
The property consists of open plan kitchen/dining area with breakfast island and all the appliances you could need. It makes a cosy home from home with some lovely exposed beams. There are many attractions in this area including miles of very scenic footpaths. The Forest of Dean also has fantastic cycle tracks for the family or for the serious mountain biker. Also close by are local attractions such as Beechenhurst, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves and Norchard Steam Railway. There are places of historic interest too such as Tintern Abbey and Chepstow Castle, and the market towns of Monmouth, Coleford and Ross on Wye.
