To the first floor you’ll find a twin room and a double room, as well as a separate toilet. Step outside into the large, enclosed garden with a lawn, and inviting patio area with garden furniture – perfect for letting your four-legged friends out to roam. There’s also off road parking on the drive available for two vehicles.

There are an array of activities and days out to be had, such as Symonds Yat rock, Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves, and Coleford has its own Great Western Railway Museum. The cottage provides the perfect location for visitors with pets. The River Severn about 10 miles away, Dean Heritage Centre, Dean Forest Railway and Tintern Abbey are all nearby. There is good fishing, RSPB reserves, riding, golf, tennis and excellent walking and cycling opportunities locally. Ross-on-Wye, Chepstow, Monmouth and the cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford are within easy driving distance. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The house and annexe sleep twenty-six people. The house has five bedrooms, an annexe with two more bedrooms, a living room, a thirty-seater dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with two ovens, and four bathrooms. In the garden you will find a games room, two hot tubs and a BBQ area. There is adequate parking for up to 10 cars.

Experience the Georgian city of Bath, only 7 miles away by car. With its famous architecture, the Jane Austen Centre, and thermal spa (Thermae), the city offers something for everybody. The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, the famous Pulteney Bridge, and the Christmas markets are among the city’s many must see attractions.
Nearby National Trust properties can be found within a short drive, as well as other stately homes. Head to Longleat Safari Park or visit Avebury and Stonehenge, all under an hour away.
