  • Bluebell Lodge, GloucestershireInstant Book Overlay Image
Bluebell Lodge is a fabulous two-bedroom property situated in a perfect location in the Cotswolds. Equipped to a very good standard and with two bathrooms, it anticipates your needs by providing many of the things you might want for a fantastic and comfortable stay.
There is a fabulous choice of pubs, restaurants and cafés in the Cotswold Water Park and surrounding area – from pubs with snug cosy corners and open fires in winter to family friendly pub gardens with lovely views - and the food and beer are pretty good too! Nearly all pubs and restaurants are child and dog friendly. The villages and towns offer a great variety of friendly local pubs, and many of them are situated on peaceful walking/cycling routes such as the Thames Path or National Cycle Route 45.
The Cotswold Water Park is much more than ‘a park’ and is deceptive as it is actually an area of 42 square miles and 108 lakes, with many different leisure providers. Since 1967, when the whole area was designated as ‘the Cotswold Water Park’, it has grown to become a major tourist destination in its own right – more than million visitors come here every year. Within the area, there are 14 villages and towns where more than 20,000 people live and work. This can be confusing to visitors to the Cotswolds because the whole area is considered a ‘park’. The western section of the Cotswold Water Park lies to the west of the A419 between Swindon and Cirencester, centred around the B4696 Spine Road. Bluebell Lodge is in this western section. The eastern section of the Cotswold Water Park lies to the east of the A419 and contains the thriving towns of Fairford and Lechlade on the Thames. Pub and restaurant 1 mile.
