This delightful log cabin has been thoughtfully furnished to offer a cosy and welcoming feel, with enough room for all the family. On a covered veranda in the garden you will find the blissful hot tub, which offers the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, with views of the pleasant enclosed garden. Both bedrooms offer the flexibility of zip and link twin beds which can be made into super kingsize beds (on request). The owners have thoughtfully provided complimentary toiletries should you forget your own!
Bring your bucket and spade as the glorious sandy beach at Morfa Dyffryn is just a mile down the road and offers superb views over to the Rhinog Mountains. For the more adventurous, Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog are a thrill seekers delight, whilst the famous Ffestiniog Railway and mighty Harlech Castle are also well worth a visit. From Barmouth, why not hire a bike and cycle across Barmouth Bridge and along the Mawddach Trail to Penmaenpool and Dolgellau? Beach 1 mile. Shops 300 yards, pubs and restaurants ½ mile.

Take a trip on the little Fairbourne Railway out to the headland and cross the Mawddach Estuary by ferry, and visit Barmouth where you can try crabbing in the harbour, or stroll across the famous Barmouth Bridge. Imagine yourself climbing Cader Idris, exploring the ruins of Castell-y-Bere, or riding behind a steam engine on the friendly Talyllyn Railway and hopping off the train to explore the waterfalls at Dolgoch or Nant Gwernol. Visit the pretty market town of Dolgellau, go walking or mountain biking at Coed-Y-Brenin Forest Park, then relax in the garden with a glass of wine, watching the sun set.

Ideally located on the fringes of the coastal resort of Pwllheli, this delightful semi-detached, bungalow for two is within easy reach of fantastic visitor attractions, sandy beaches and lovely walks. The Lleyn Peninsula is renowned for its superb, unspoilt scenery and the location of Penlon means easy access to all corners. Pwllheli has an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and has a weekly market and a stunning beach which seems to go on for miles. Opportunities for walking, cycling and a myriad of outdoor pursuits are all easily accessible in the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Lively and fashionable Abersoch, just a short drive away, boasts a pretty harbour and excellent water sports facilities. Nearby you will also find Porthmadog, the starting point for the world famous Ffestiniog Railway, where you can enjoy scenic trips to the fascinating slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog. Beach 1½ miles. Close to the Snowdonia National Park and a 20-minute drive to Snowdon itself, these three spacious, attractive and comfortable barn conversions boast stunning views over beautiful countryside. The Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales has also become the UK’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2021. Within easy driving distance there are a myriad exciting activities including mountain biking, surfing, sailing, excellent walking, riding and golf. Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, and a fine selection of shops, restaurants and pubs is just 4 miles away, and is also the start of the Welsh Highland Railway for scenic journeys into the heart of Snowdonia. Situated just 1¼ miles from the town of Barmouth with its range of pubs, cafés, individual shops and entertainment for all the family, this lovely detached bungalow enjoys an enviable location.
Enter through the entrance hall, leading to the large living area with its cosy wood burner and patio doors leading to the garden. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well-equipped with all the appliances you could need for a home-from-home stay, and also features a large dining table, great for socialising whilst the chef in the family prepares a hearty meal.
The utility room room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and rear entrance for those with muddy boots, and there is an outside tap where you can wash your wellies off. The property boasts a games room, with a TV, PlayStation 4, football table, chess and other board games. This room leads to a spacious bedroom sleeping three on a bunk bed (with a double on the bottom and a single on the top). On this floor there is also a kingsize bedroom. Upstairs on the first floor are three further bedrooms, two double (one with an en-suite) and a twin bedroom.
Outside, the large front garden with patio area offers a great place for some al fresco dining, along with a fabulous view. To the rear and side of the property are woodland grounds, some of which is steep and has steep drops – please supervise all children when playing in the woodland area. There are floodlights situated on each corner of the property so if you arrive in the dark you will be able to see all of the grounds.
There are lots of walks to be had in the local area. You can walk along Barmouth viaduct and down the delightful Mawddach Trail, which runs alongside the Mawddach Estuary, to the pretty town of Dolgellau along the course of an old railway line. From Barmouth you can explore the coastline by train too. Head north to Harlech with its magnificent castle, brooding over the village, whilst to the south is Llwyngwril, home to an annual Yarnbombing project. Further south is Tywyn, home of the Talyllyn Railway, where you can enjoy a ride on a narrow gauge steam train into the hills to Nant Gwernol. Above Barmouth is Dinas Oleu, the first part of land to be given to the National Trust and the views are well worth the steep climb. If you’re into adrenaline activities, be sure to visit Blaenau Ffestiniog and Zip World, home to the largest zip wire zone in the world, and Bounce Below, the only place you are ever likely to bounce on trampoline nets in an underground slate cavern the size of St Paul’s Cathedral. Apartment 1 is a ground floor apartment located right in the heart of Aberdovey, opposite the Yacht Club and the beach, and close to local amenities. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water based activities including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching in the surrounding area.
