Pebble Cottage is a stunning former fisherman’s cottage situated close to the beach front and local amenities in Aberdovey. There isn’t a better location to be for those looking for a seaside escape. Set within the southern reaches of the Snowdonia National Park, excellent for those walkers visiting the area. Aberdovey is a thriving seaside fishing village with brightly painted houses which seem to cling to the shoreline, and has a history dating back hundreds of years. It offers miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches with a fantastic selection of water based activities available including sailing, fishing and windsurfing. Golfers are also well catered for with an 18-hole championship golf course located at the western end of the village, which welcomes visiting players. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the wonderful opportunities for walking and bird watching available in the surrounding area. A myriad of visitor attractions are within easy reach including the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Talyllyn Railway, the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur’s Labyrinth. Beach 100 yards. Pebble Cottage can be booked together with adjacent Sunny Shores (ref UK32245), and Westhaven (UK32244) to accommodate up to 13 guests, but please be aware Westhaven is about 175 yards away.

The lodge has the rare benefit of a large enclosed garden, along with decking and seating area to relax on after a day at the beach, which is walking distance away. Once inside you’re greeted by a very spacious open plan living space, there’s a quality leather corner sofa with oodles of space for all the family to relax and chat about the day. The two bedrooms have been furnished to a high standard to ensure you have a restful nights sleep, with quality mattresses and bedding, and one has its own en-suite toilet with sink.
Here you’re really in the heart of all North Wales has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Dinas Dinlle beach is in walking distance from the lodge, with wonderful views across the bay to the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is under 8 miles and where Prince Charles took his investiture. Venture just a little further and you have Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember. Beach ½ mile.

At the wild and beautiful tip of the Llyn Peninsula in the pretty village of Aberdaron, this coastal holiday cottage has been lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. Clean simple lines, white walls, pale blue furnishings and lovely seascape pictures all contribute to the nautical theme. The open plan kitchen/dining room is well equipped and a fantastic space for cooking and feasting with family and friends. French doors lead from the living room out to the fully enclosed garden which has a decking area perfect for eating out and enjoying the spectacular sunsets and sea views. When the sun goes down the living room is stocked with an eclectic mix of books, DVDs and games - fun for all the family! Bodarfor has Wi-Fi Internet, so take your computer, perfect for working holidays, entertainment and information.
Aberdaron has two pubs serving great meals, one with a terrace directly overlooking the beach, two tea rooms, a fish bar, an ice cream parlour selling award-winning ice cream and an excellent bakery with a tea room upstairs. The Spar has a post office counter and the Eleri Stores sells fishing tackle, frozen bait, newspapers, lottery tickets and freshly cooked takeaway pizza. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llyn Peninsula. The ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron was the last stopping off point for pilgrims to Bardsey Island. There is so much to see and do within 200 yards of Bodarfor! Uwchmynydd is a heath covered headland above the village and is and home to a variety of rare plants and birds - an ideal spot from where to catch sight of elusive Bardsey Island which is invisible from the village or the Peninsula.

This really is a superb spot for exploring this amazing part of North Wales, where you can enjoy both spectacular mountain scenery and the most amazing beaches, along with a host of family attractions. It really does make a fantastic base from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park whatever time of year, with its cosy wood burning stove and fabulous views.
Pant Du Vineyard is just over half a mile away from the cottage, an absolute must visit whilst here. The many attractions of this area include a narrow gauge steam railway, which winds its way from historic Caernarfon into the heart of the Snowdonia Mountains, and a small airfield for pleasure flights over the area.
Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is within easy reach and also offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, along with golf, bike hire and sailing.

A spacious static caravan situated on a bustling, popular park with many eateries to choose from, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to eat each day. There’s plenty of on-site entertainment to enjoy, and various activities such as segways, bikes and pedalos hire. An indoor pool with lazy river and slides, this site is a wonderful place to make memories for all ages. There’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms with open plan lounge kitchen and breakfast area, and an area with outdoor seating perfect to catch a bit sunshine. You’ll be in an ideal location to explore the Llyn Peninsula and the nearby Snowdonia National Park. Nearby Pwllheli has plenty to offer with harbour, and golf course, along with plenty of shops to peruse, supermarkets and eateries and a large beach with miles of sweeping sands.
A short drive is Porthdinllaen beach home to a popular beach side inn, once voted in the top ten best beach bars in the world! You are also within easy reach of Porthmadog home to the Welsh Highland Railway, and Italianate village of Portmeirion, fashionable Abersoch is also nearby. Criccieth and Harlech, a short drive away where you’ll find the historic castles of the area. This area has miles of unspoilt coastal paths to explore, look out for the grey seal colonies that are established around the coastline, alongside a wealth of sea birds. No matter your interests from golfing, fishing and adventure sports to nature and history, the diverse Llyn Peninsula has everything to offer. The National Trust interactive visitor centre in Aberdaron promotes the many attractions of the Llŷn Peninsula, such as the ancient church of St Hywyn’s in Aberdaron which was the last stopping-off point for pilgrims at Bardsey Island, to the Wales Coastal Path for wonderful walks and nature spotting, ideal for those outdoor lovers. Close by are the bustling popular resorts of Abersoch and Pwllheli, there are miles of wonderful beaches to explore with a vast array of water sports on offer across the Llŷn Peninsula.
Just under 3 miles away is Porthor beach known for its whistling sands; the sound is created due to the unique texture and size of the sand particles. There are only two beaches in the whole of Europe where you can experience this for yourselves, and you’ll have one just down the road. The Llŷn Peninsula is an unspoilt, designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with miles of coastal and mountain walks to explore. There is wildlife in abundance, pods of dolphins, seals, and birdlife to spot. You’ll be truly captivated by a visit in this region.

Wonderfully positioned to make the most of the region’s beautiful beaches, castles and mountains, this comfortable detached cottage, sits in the grounds of the owners’ smallholding, enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding countryside on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park. It’s just a short drive from an award winning blue flag beach, whilst Caernarfon with its superb castle is three miles and offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Welsh highland narrow gauge railway passes close by and makes for a memorable trip into the mountains of Snowdonia, an enormous range of exciting activities and attractions lie close by including Zip World, the longest zip wire in the world. Walking, golf and horse riding can all be enjoyed nearby.

The barn is situated in the grounds of a small farm, and is an ideal holiday base close to the mountains of Snowdonia. Tan Rallt Barn has plenty of space for eight people and can accommodate climbing and walking groups coming into the Snowdonia National Park. It’s a great location for outdoor enthusiasts being close to the Ogwen Valley and Zip World - the longest zipwire in the northern hemisphere, and just a short drive from Llanberis and Snowdon, with its famous mountain railway. You’ll find Penrhyn Castle (NT) just down the road, whilst Caernarfon, with its impressive castle, the Isle of Anglesey with 125 miles of coastline, Capel Curig and Betws-y-Coed are all close by. The GreenWood Forest Park at Y Felinheli, Yr Hwylfan (The Fun Centre) at Caernarfon and Electric Mountain at Llanberis are all well worth a visit. Shop 0.5 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
