Chichester with its beautiful cathedral, festival theatre, pedestrianised shopping, leisure centre, Roman Villa and Goodwood or Fontwell races is worthy of a visit. Visit Portsmouth with waterside dining, ferry trips to the Isle of Wight, designer outlets, leisure facilities, Spinnaker Tower, Historic Dockyard including HMS Victory and the Mary Rose, or the maritime history at Southampton. This traditional, detached family home enjoys some charming features such as beams, tiled floors, inglenook fireplaces, original oak floors, wood panelling in the dining room, a Rayburn, walled garden and a wood burner. The house is set just back from the main road which leads to the town, (there may be some road noise although the property is secondary glazed), and is conveniently located for local pubs and restaurants - the nearest only two minutes walk away, and a comprehensive range of independent shops, such as a butchers, bakery, greengrocers and more. The naval city of Portsmouth is 14 miles away, with its historic dockyard, home to Nelson’s Victory and The Mary Rose, along with waterside dining, extensive designer shops and ferry trips to the Isle of Wight. Winchester, Southampton with its shopping centre and the New Forest with extensive heathland walks, riding and cycling opportunities are approximately 40 minutes away.
