A short distance away is the RSPB reserve at South Stack near Holyhead, whilst children will love Foel Farm Park or Anglesey Sea Zoo at Brynsiencyn. The NT mansion of Plas Newydd is well worth a visit, as is pretty Beaumaris with its castle, whilst the mountains of Snowdonia can be easily reached back on the mainland. Beach 5 miles.
