Nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of Uppermill is the wonderful Co Operative Cottage. With its tastefully decorated interior and beautiful blend and co-ordination of comfortable furnishings, it provides a warm and inviting atmosphere in which to relax and unwind whilst making yourself at home. Set out over three floors each of the bedrooms are well appointed and the kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm should you wish. Externally there’s a private patio plus a lawned garden that’s shared with the other properties on the small row. Private roadside parking is also allocated outside for one car.
The real pièce de résistance however is the superb central location within this incredibly popular village. Uppermill is a vibrant, picturesque village brimming with real character and natural beauty. Barnoldswick is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Pendle, and within the boundaries of the historic West Riding of Yorkshire. Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas of West Craven have been administered since 1974 as part of Lancashire. This was when West Riding County Council and Barnoldswick Urban District Council were abolished and the town was transferred to the Borough of Pendle. With so many local attractions far and wide, there really is something for everyone. Fancy venturing out further afield? The ancient Roman town of Ribchester is just a couple of miles to the south, home to the Ribchester Roman Museum and a fantastic choice of pubs and restaurants.
