With the sandy beaches of the east coast about 30 minutes drive to the east with the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe always popular for a day at the seaside.
Market Rasen with its race course is about 15 minutes drive, as is the unspoilt Georgian market town of Louth, still with two busy market days a week. Horncastle is renowned for its antique shops and is only a short drive away. Inland 25 minutes away is the cathedral city of Lincoln, rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink while exploring. And after your days spent exploring or relaxing you can return to your cottage to relax with food and drink available through a private gate at the end of your garden. The cottage is just 2 miles from the lovely market town of Spilsby with plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants. Partney itself is only 10 miles from the seaside resort of Skegness with its excellent sandy beaches, fun fair, amusements, theatre, a seal sanctuary and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve so why not back your bucket and spade? Attractions in the area include the stunning Lincolnshire Wolds National Park, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby or Horncastle, a 15-minute drive, which is famous for its many antique and collectables shops. Lincoln Cathedral, where ’The Da Vinci Code’ was filmed with Tom Hanks, is less an hour’s drive. Should you wish to leave the car there are many excellent walks and cycle routes throughout the area along with an award winning village pub across from the cottage which serves good home cooked food along with a great selection of local ales.

These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.

This lovely one bedroomed barn conversion is ideal for for adults looking for a quiet break close to the coast and the small seaside town of Sutton on Sea, well known for its award-winning sandy beaches. This is the perfect getaway for those who love to get out and about! On-site there is a touring site for adults only, and two coarse fishing lakes with fishing included in your stay.
Just over a mile from the beach, where a walk along the promenade takes you north to Mablethorpe and south to Sandilands, your furry friend will absolutely love the walk! There is also a variety of shops, restaurants, takeaway and bars to enjoy, who doesn’t love chips by the sea?!
Donna Nook seal breeding grounds are very popular to visit, with around 200 seal pups born each year, and you will also sometimes see them at Sutton on Sea just offshore or even sunbathing on the beach.
Inland are the market towns of Alford, about a 10-minute drive, and Louth, about 30 minutes’ drive, both with a range of shops and regular markets. Louth is well known for its range of small food shops selling local produce as well as three markets a week, the perfect shopping experience for the designated chef to show off their talent.
