    Standing detached on the edge of Seacroft Caravan Club Site, this single-storey chalet enjoys being within easy reach of all the facilities of the park, including the outdoor, heated swimming pool (seasonal opening) and the club house with a bar and restaurant. Less than 1 mile to the seaside resort of Cromer itself, Seacroft is a family orientated Caravan Club Site, with 111 pitches. During peak season, the park hosts a lively programme of varied entertainment and special events. Located on the opposite side of the road is ’The Common’, which is ideal for walkers, a large expanse of grassland, located along the cliff top with a path leading to Cromer’s promenade and town. The small theatre at the end of Cromer pier hosts live entertainment (in season) and there is a bustling promenade, colourful gardens, beach, Amazona Zoo and golf course. The town centre has many shops, cafés and restaurants and a carnival is held in the third week of August. With the bus stop outside the park entrance, a great way of exploring Norfolk’s Coastline is by the local bus service, ‘The Coastal Hopper’, visiting towns and villages along the Coast Road. Sheringham has the headquarters of the Poppy Line North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash and Fun Water Park, RNLI life boat station and museum, cliff top golf course, Sheringham Park (NT) and town centre with shops, café and restaurants. RSPB nature and bird reserves at Blakeney Quay, Morston Harbour, Cley next the Sea and Salthouse. An hours drive away is Holkham Hall (NT), Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall (NT). Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads offers daily boat hire and river trips available, shops, cafés and waterside restaurants. The city of Norwich has excellent shopping malls, market square, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

    A lovely traditional Norfolk house sitting pretty on a quiet lane, there is much to love about Betty’s Cottage. It had been furnished in traditional style that is very in keeping with its whole ambiance. It offers a lovely open-fire and three bedrooms to accommodate up to six guests making this a great family property. There is also a boat house with a small canoe that guests are welcome to use at their own risk. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool next door, which can be booked for private use by the hour.
    There are also lots of wonderful walks across the open countryside, which is reflected in the pretty views from the cottage itself. You really are tucked away here, making Betty’s something of a hidden treasure but don’t be fooled because you are very close to both the beaches and the Broads, making this the perfect choice for guests looking to combine a relaxing break with lots to explore. Just four miles from the seafront, you can be in Mundesley in just eight minutes. Here you will find a lovely coastal village boasting one of the best beaches in the area along with lots of cafes and a handful of shops.
    Venture just a little further and you will find yourself taking in Cromer’s famous pier and Edwardian Promenade. Here you will also find a host of traditional seaside attractions, lots of places to eat, drink and shop, a cinema, and a zoo. A little further afield and you can be quayside in Blakeney or Wells-next-the-Sea or exploring the grassy dunes at Winterton-on-Sea. You are also just 12 miles from the heart stunning Norfolk Broads, Wroxham.From here you can join a water tour or hire your own launch. You can also hop on Bure Valley railway and travel across open countryside to the bustling market town of Aylsham. History buffs will find lots to love here too with NT properties and stately homes galore to explore.
    There are also numerous local museums and the Thursford Collection with its Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey and the Mucklburgh Collection and North Norfolk Railway too. There is so much nature to be found right on your doorstep but if you do want to venture a little further make time to visit the Sculthorpe and Pensthorpe Nature Reserves, RSPB Cley Marshes and Sheringham Park. And after all that sightseeing you will be delighted to discover that the area is simply packed with great places to eat, many of which serve huge Norfolk portions of home cooked, fresh, seasonal produce. And then you can return to Betty’s where you can be sure of a peaceful night’s sleep. Just lovely.
