One of the nicest ways to explore the city is by punt, which meanders through the city and passes many of the stunning university grounds. There are also many shops, pubs, restaurants and theatres. Norwich, famous for its cathedral, is also within easy reach, where a visit to the stunning cathedral is not to be missed, as is the famous mustard shop, with many new and old varieties can be purchased. In fact, golfers really will be spoilt for choice with The Royal West Norfolk (Brancaster) Golf Club, Hunstanton and Fakenham also close by.
There is lots you can do to work up an appetite and, although the kitchen at Caradon House simply begs to be used, foodies will find lots of reasons to eat out as Norfolk’s burgeoning good food reputation continues to grow.
