It is ideal for a couple or small family to enjoy an active holiday, and is also perfect to just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. This pretty cottage is the perfect place to return to and relax after a day exploring the local area.
The interior is full of character and even features wooden panelling in the open plan living area where you can relax in front of the TV in one of the deep comfortable armchairs or settee. A day exploring Castle Howard and the Howardian Hills is an absolute must. For a little culture you can spend time exploring the historic city of York with its cobbled streets and magnificent minster or enjoy the many independent shops, tea rooms, cafés and restaurants in Malton and Helmsley which are arguably two of Yorkshires finest town’s. Just under an hour away are the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough; perfect for the summer months or a windy winter walk along the promenade.
