You can enjoy numerous walks and coastal paths in and around the village including the spectacular walk along the Jubilee Path to Rockcliffe, another seaside village just along the coast with its lovely sandy beach. Just across the road from Coastal Kippford there is a small 9-hole golf course whilst there are several championship courses within a short drive. For the biking enthusiast a must is a day spent at Dalbeattie Forest, a couple of miles along the road, and home to one of the famous 7Stanes mountain bike trails including Ironhash, Moyle Hill and the red graded Hardrock Trail.
Further afield this beautiful corner of Dumfries and Galloway will delight all ages from historical castles, National Trust Gardens, and miles of stunning and dramatic coastline.
