The most recent addition to the collection, Kingfisher Cottage (UK38211) is a renovated, detached, single-storey luxury cottage, tucked way down a farm track. With two stylish bedrooms and beautiful quality furnishings throughout, the high ceilinged open plan living room/kitchen features an eyecatching wood burner flanked by full length picture windows, making the most of the view for the ultimate relaxing experience. Islabank Farmhouse (ref SAAP) is a traditional, characterful, comfortable farmhouse which is ideal for families. Curlew Cottage (ref SYYJ) is a charming, beautifully converted, detached, single-storey property and a haven for wildlife. Still part of the farm but located 4 miles away is Osprey Cottage (ref UZQ), a delightful, light and sunny, single-storey detached cottage.
Set amongst beautiful farmland and fruit-growing country, they make an excellent choice for relaxing breaks in the heart of rural Perthshire. The estate makes an ideal base for exploring central Scotland, Edinburgh, Perth, St Andrews and the Highlands. Glamis Castle is a few miles away. Refurbished to a good standard in 2019, Westburn provides a comfortably furnished holiday home that is a great holiday base from which to enjoy the wonderful facilities that Perthshire has to offer. Comrie is a friendly, traditional village with a high street with a local baker, butcher and greengrocer as well as a gallery, craft shop, small supermarket, cafés and hotels with restaurants and bar all within walking distance.

For guests with small children, toddlers and babies, the owners have put great thought into providing additional extras to make your stay a little easier. Facilities include a travel cot (spare linen available), highchair, changing mat, booster seat, bed guard, baby bath and a baby monitor. Even meal preparation has been considered too, with a hand-held food blender and bottle steriliser on hand. There are no low-level glass doors and all lower units are fitted with child locks. Westburn is truly the ideal retreat for greater peace of mind.

Great for walkers and cyclists of all abilities, from your front door there are many established public footpaths and cycle paths that lead directly out into the heart of rural Perthshire. The River Earn runs through the village and provides the perfect landscape for an afternoon stroll. For a more exhilarating walk, head to the Deil’s Cauldron where the River Lednoch cascades through a rocky gorge. There is a very scenic golf course, fishing, bowling and Loch Earn, 6 miles away, offering sailing and watersports.

For a family day out Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre is a short drive away and has much to offer all ages with a children’s play area, covered walkway to view the wildlife and a restaurant. After spending your day exploring, Westburn offers a spacious, welcoming holiday home to return to with the added benefit of an enclosed garden with a summerhouse where children can play. Cotlea East Cottage is a real find - a beautifully furnished stone cottage with all the trappings you need for an indulgent and restful holiday with your friends or family. It features gorgeous furnishings and not one, but two, wood burners; one in the cosy living room and one in the dining room. There are also comfortable beds and a brilliant modern wet room, which is also the perfect place fro washing pets down after being out in the glorious countryside surrounding the house. Situated just 3 miles from the small town of Alyth, the property has a wealth of attractions and amenities within easy reach. There are some great golf courses here along with super walks in the Den of Alyth, a wooded glen on the outskirts of the town. A few miles beyond is the bustling market town of Blairgowrie with its good selection of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. Heading west, enjoy a scenic route to the popular town of Pitlochry with its theatre, shops and fish ladder. In the winter months try your hand at skiing at Glenshee, just 20 miles away, or travel a little further and enjoy the stunning scenery of Braemar. There are 20 golf courses within 20 miles including the famous Gleneagles. Relax and enjoy a well-deserved break in this idyllic little semi-detached cottage. Set in the tiny hamlet of Kettins just 1½ miles from the market town of Coupar Angus, it is a pastoral delight, with whitewashed walls surrounded by attractive gardens. The row of cottages are set up a few steps from a tiny village green with a small stream meandering past. Inside, the cottage has been tastefully furnished and retains some original features including arched doorways, high ceilings and wooden floors, with a cosy open fire in the living room leading through to a small kitchen/dining room. At the back the sunny sheltered patio slopes upward to a lovely lawn and is perfect for alfresco meals.
A walkers and cyclists paradise there are plenty of waymarked paths through arable countryside of the Vale of Strathmore through Meigle, Ardler and Coupar Angus to the more challenging glens beyond Blairgowrie. Renowned for its soft fruit, there are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby showcasing local produce, and a good range of shops locally and further afield in Dundee and Perth. Glamis Castle, the childhood home of H.M Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and the Pictish Stone Museum are well worth a visit and the cottage is within half an hour of the Cairngorms National Park. The ski slopes at Glenshee are a short drive and Pitlochry is within easy reach. Golfers have plenty of courses to choose from including Rosemount and Carnoustie, or explore the clean sandy beaches strung out along the east coast. Beach 19 miles. Crieff, 7 miles, is where you will find several amenities, including a popular delicatessen, cafés and a supermarket, as well as an array of shops. But, perhaps more appealing, is ‘The Famous Grouse whisky distillery’, at Glenturret, where you can take a tour – you might even get a taste! Several events are also held throughout the year, including ‘The Crieff Highland Games’ and autumn’s ‘Drovers’ Tryst Walking Festival’.

You will be in your element in this area if you are a fan of the outdoors, as the mountains call walkers, hikers and cyclists alike. Loch Earn is ideal for water sports and there are plenty of fishing, golfing, cycling and horse riding opportunities in the surrounding area. Speaking of horse riding, based on the farm there is an equestrian eventing facility, amongst 80 acres of wooded parkland, where you could tackle some of the 100 cross country jumps. If you prefer to stay on your own two feet then walking with the wildlife is highly recommended.

If all that outdoor activity leaves you in search of some retail therapy or a good night out, then the city of Perth is just 7 miles away. Here you will be spoilt for choice with places to wine and dine. You could even go to the theatre! A great way to experience the city is to take a boat trip on the River Tay (seasonal). This area has lots to offer, not least its many historic castles, including Scone Palace, Drummond Castle and Garden, Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Hopetoun House and for fans of the TV series ‘Outlander’, there are numerous locations used in the making of the series. Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow are all easily accessible for day trips. What are you waiting for?

In idyllic pastoral setting, this charming single storey cottage is perfect for couples or families looking for a restful holiday in the heart of the Perthshire countryside. Although feeling remote, the cottage is in fact only a short drive to the little village of Meigle with shop, hotel and cafés serving good seasonal food. Just a 20 minute drive from the Angus Glens, there is a wealth of things to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland – breathtaking walks, Kinpurney Hill with its prominent Iron Age tower is a good one and can be seen from the cottage, riding , fishing, plenty of golf, and skiing in winter. A short drive from Glamis Castle, the Fair City of Perth, Dundee and within an easy drive of the lovely beaches which stretch out along the East Coast, this is your ideal cottage whatever the time of year. Located in the enchanting village of St Fillans, on the shores of Loch Earn, Westholme provides an ideal base for a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of life. Westholme is a charming, 19th-century cottage, tucked away in the heart of the picturesque village of St Fillans retaining several its original features. As you approach the house you are welcomed by a lovely front garden and driveway with space for two cars. You enter the house via a sun porch which is a real sun trap in the summer and an ideal spot to bird watch in the spring. Downstairs there is a comfortable living room and a spacious dining room, leading into the fully equipped galley-style kitchen with adjacent toilet. The back door leads to the annex and back garden. The annex accommodates the washing machine and dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The garden is large and planted with mature shrubs, bulbs and beautiful wisteria. There is a generous sized lawn, outdoor furniture and plenty of space to eat al fresco. Outside you can admire Ben Lorvic in the distance and listen to the bird song.
Take a stroll to the end of the road and you will find yourself on the edge of the River Earn, just as it opens out onto the stunning Loch Earn. With tea rooms, a village shop, bar and restaurant all within walking distance, this is an amazing place to come and relax. There are numerous activities for young and old, active and sedate, and everyone in between! Hiking, biking, water sports, angling, golf, bird watching and visiting local sites of interest are all within easy reach. Pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

The cottage is just 5 miles from the pretty town of Aberfeldy where you can find shops, restaurants, public swimming pool and river walks beside the "Birks" or River Tay. In addition, less than 3 miles away you will discover the historic village of Kenmore which has a post office, golf, pub, water sports, iron age settlement and Hotbox outdoor spa all situated at one end of Loch Tay.

The bright and spacious accommodation is furnished and equipped to an exceptionally high standard and the location is delightfully removed from the business of the world whilst still having lots to do such as walking, climbing Munro’s, exploring the nearby Whisky distillery or metalwork gallery, kayaking, rafting, wild swimming or even enjoying the luxury of our local outdoor Hotbox Spa, on the banks of Loch Tay at nearby Kenmore.

After a busy day exploring the picturesque area or indulging in activities the cottage is the perfect place to return to with showroom standard bathrooms to get refreshed in, a well-equipped kitchen to refuel you, three bright and spacious bedrooms upstairs with ultra-cosy beds, Egyptian cotton bedlinen and blackout blinds/curtains to ensure a restful night’s sleep.

The delightful sitting room has a wood burning stove and deep, comfortable sofas, making it a cosy retreat for all seasons and especially during chilly winter evenings with a smart TV and Netflix.
The cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside which is famed for its natural beauty and has French doors leading to the gated garden just across the courtyard through which runs the Keltney Burn (small river), where you can sit and enjoy a barbeque on our Weber BBQ or have your meal on the garden table with a view over the flowing water. (When in the garden we recommend young children are supervised).

Not to be missed is the Fortingall Yew, at 5,000 years it is probably the oldest tree in Europe.
Interestingly, it was already ancient when the Romans came this way and legend has it that Fortingall was the birthplace of Pontius Pilate.

The area is ideal for numerous outdoor pursuits including fishing, golfing, walking, mountain biking and water sports (kayaking, rafting, canyoning). Low level, forest and mountain walks are virtually on the doorstep. Walkers can enjoy everything from level woodland strolls to the challenges of Glen Lyon, one of the loveliest of Scottish glens and teeming with wildlife, including the elusive capercaillie. Mountain bikers have Drummond Hill on the doorstep with miles of tracks whilst, for walkers, the famous nearby Schiehallion (one of many local Munros) can be reached within minutes.
