Stable Cottage has been completely renovated in 2021 and refurbished providing excellent contemporary, cosy and an inviting holiday venue specifically designed for a couple. All on one level and immaculately presented throughout, the dining/kitchen has everything you require to prepare a romantic meal, relax in the cosy living room with wood burner, Smart TV and French door leading to a private garden with seating. A quiet reading room is ideal for meditation or finishing your holiday novel. There is an attractively presented kingsize bedroom with an en-suite shower room along with a bathroom.
From your doorstep there are miles of quiet footpaths and cycle tracks to explore, and there are opportunities for many other outdoor activities including climbing, hill walking, fishing and water sports on Loch Earn. For nature-lovers, the estate and area are a haven for wildlife. Look out for otters, pine martens and stoats; deer can be seen in the wood and field, and wild birds include, siskins, nuthatches, house martins, woodpeckers, buzzards and red kites. Sidlaws is a wonderful first floor barn conversion set in the owners’ spacious grounds. Ideal for extended families who want a bit of space, the property is a combination of two first floor apartments, the first is accessed via an external staircase, and has two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower over bath and a lovely view over the garden from its balcony in the open plan living room/kitchen. A second apartment also on the first floor is accessed through the large games room on the ground floor via a spiral staircase and comprises a double bedroom on open plan to a seating area and kitchenette, along with a separate shower room. Families and friends can get together and enjoy the brilliant facilities which include a proper cinema room, complete with plush seats and large screen as well as a dedicated games room with table tennis and table football.
Outside, there is a separate garden for guests to enjoy amongst the wonderful scenery surrounding the property. Situated in Blairgowrie by the River Isla, this is a tranquil base to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside in Highland Perthshire and the Angus Glens. Located down a quiet country lane between Coupar Angus and Blairgowrie, both are a 5-minute drive away, with plenty of good facilities; Blairgowrie has a supermarket, local shops including an award-winning butchers, little cafes and good restaurants. Dundee is a 20-minute drive away and offers a wider range of shops and is home to the V&A museum, Dundee Contemporary Arts and the Discovery and Verdant Works. There is a small airport with flights to and from London City and Belfast City. The Sidlaws is the perfect location to base yourself for exploring the local and surrounding area or just sitting back in the evening and enjoy your magnificent surroundings. There is something for everyone to enjoy here, from golf fishing, to cycling, walking and water sports.

Woodside Farmhouse is the perfect space for a family or group of six. In an idyllic rural location, set up a farm track this delightful cottage is located just a few miles outside the town of Blairgowrie. Take a dip in the hot tub, enjoy the panoramic views from the front garden over the farmland and just switch off and relax from the hustle of working life. Inside there is plenty of space to spread out, with a comfortable living space for adults and children and a good size kitchen/dining room with all modern facilities. The bedrooms have super comfy beds and a sense of calm and the family bathroom with shower as well as another separate completes the property.

Whether you want to walk, ski, fish, cycle, shop or simply relax, it’s all on offer in the surrounding area of beautiful Perthshire. Blairgowrie known for its soft fruit production, in particular raspberries, and is a popular town with golfers and anglers; the River Ericht flows through and Rosemount Golf Club is one of the most highly regarded in the UK. It is also the main start point for the 60-mile circular Cateran Trail that walkers can follow around the historic drove roads used by cattle rustlers.

Further north there is a quick and easy access to Royal Deeside and the Scottish Highlands beyond. Ideally placed for day trips to many of Scotland’s favourite attractions within Angus, Perthshire, Fife and beyond, all four of Scotland’s major cities; Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen are all within easy reach, as are the Highland Perthshire towns of Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy.

Rowanlea is a delightful holiday cottage in the centre of the pretty village of Muthill, in the heart of the Strathearn area of Perthshire. This lovely property has been renovated to a good standard and thoughtfully furnished to provide everything you will need for a self-catering holiday. On the ground floor guests will find a cosy living room with a wood burner, as well as the contemporary kitchen/dining room with oak work tops, floor to ceiling windows and patio doors leading to the garden. There is much to explore in Muthill, down the ancient lanes there is an old church dating back to the 12th-century, children’s play area, a renowned restaurant, café, ice cream parlour, local pub, shop and a 9-hole golf course. Crieff is only 3 miles away and is a great day out where you can visit a whisky distillery, crystal factory shop, deli and café selling local produce, craft shops, galleries, local shops and a super market. There are regular events throughout the year including the Crieff Highland Games and the Drovers Walking Festival. The area provides outdoor activities for all abilities, and if you prefer more strenuous activities, then mountains Ben Vorlich, Ben Chonzie and Ben Lawers provide excellent walking with water sports on Loch Earn and mountain biking. For the less energetic there are riverside walks along the banks of the River Earn and Turret. The area is also steeped in history with historic castles and monuments to visit. Famous for being in the TV show Outlander, Drummond Castle Garden is 2 miles away, as well as other locations seen in the show such as Doune Castle and Hopetoun House. Stirling, Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow are easily accessible for day trips. With so much to see and do in the area, Rowanlea is the ideal location for friends and family who are looking to explore this magnificent area. Beach 37 miles. Riversdale Cottage is an attractive detached cottage with a lovely garden for sitting out on sunny days. Just a few minutes walk to the conservation village of St Fillans on the shores of Loch Earn with a shop, coffee shop and two hotels serving quality food, wine, ales and whisky. Situated within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, you are surrounded by spectacular
scenery of mountains and lochs and there is so much to do to suit all tastes. From the cottage you can walk into the countryside, cycle along the loch side or on the official cycle path towards Comrie.

The local golf club, Sandy Lyle’s favourite small Scottish golf course, is adjacent and features a
challenging 9-hole course - one of the many courses in the area. Loch Earn offers water sports, fishing and small lochside beaches for paddling and picnics. For days out, visit the roaring Falls of Dochart at Killin, or Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre near Comrie. The pretty tourist town of Callander is well worth a visit with an abundance of eclectic shops, tea shops, restaurants and pubs. For guests interested in history and culture, there are ancient monuments and castles to visit, whisky distilleries and tales of folklore and clans in the area.

You may prefer to just relax on your holiday and Riversdale is cosy and welcoming. A wonderful cottage set on a lodge holiday park, surrounded by hills mountains and lochs in the heart of the highlands Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross. Underfloor heating. Open-plan. Pitlochry 14 miles; Perth 31 miles.

Gardeners’ cottage is a unique property comprising of three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin with an ample shower room on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a sunroom looking onto the enclosed private walled garden, a utility with toilet, the kitchen dining space is well-equipped and lighting can be adjusted to suit the mood.
The living room has a baby grand piano, record player and a wood burner, which makes it ideal for relaxing with friends and family or just reading a book in a tranquil setting. During the summer the walled garden is a treat to behold, there is a seating area and is an enclosed space for dogs and children. There is a spacious lawn to the front of the which is not enclosed so pets or young children will need to be supervised. If you need to work while staying at the cottage there is high speed fibre broadband which has recently been installed.
Located six miles from the historic city of Perth, Gardeners Cottage offers a rural location with forest walks and cycle rides on the doorstep. Also, the lochs and river Tay network provide plenty of opportunities for water sports such as wild swimming, canoeing, white water rafting and stand up paddle boarding.
Perthshire has many award-winning restaurants, including two that have Michelin stars. There are many artisanal food producers, and there is also a vibrant arts scene including Perth Concert Hall, Perth Theatre, Scone Palace and Birnam Arts Centre and Perthshire Creates to name a few. Whatever you decide to do there is plenty to keep everyone entertained.

These three properties are situated in a peaceful wooded area with walks right from the doorstep and numerous roe deer around, yet only 2½ miles from the village of Dunkeld with its shops, ancient fountain and cathedral.
