There is superb walking with many footpaths leading to either the South West Coastal Path or the heathlands and forests of the Dunster woodland and Exmoor National Park. Other places to visit are the Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton which are famous for the Watersmeet Gorge, National Trust, the Valley of the Rocks and the funicular cliff railway. The West Somerset Railway is great for steam train lovers! There are beaches at Porlock and Dunster. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.
