Situated in the popular Somerset coastal village of Brean, this property is a local landmark which is appropriately named and is a unique property of stunning architectural design, together with the hand carved stone features giving it a look of a Mediterranean-style castle.
    It also offers uninterrupted views across the Bristol Channel as well as its very own private access on to the seven mile stretch of sandy beach which lies at the bottom of the garden. If you would like to bring the dog, you’ll be pleased to hear that Brean beach and many in the area welcome dogs all year round.
    On arrival, enter through the private gates and take in the individuality of this unusual coastal beach house, which was fully refurbished in 2018. The entrance hall is the perfect place to leave your coats and shoes behind you as you enter this remarkable property. On your left is the first of the four bedrooms, which offers a double bed and views over the garden and out to sea.
    Next door is the second of the four rooms, which is a bunk bedroom ideal for the little ones of the party. Heading down the hall and to your right is the light and airy living area, which offers extensive views to Brean Down and the Bleadon Hills.
    Following on through the property are the remaining two bedrooms, both of which have a king size bed and en-suite shower rooms with toilet. Heading to the rear of the property you enter the delightful open-plan kitchen/dining room which offers seating for eight guests, perfect for enjoying supper as a family. Off the kitchen you will find the main bathroom, with a contemporary twist and which features a large freestanding bath, separate shower and WC.
    The fully enclosed garden area enjoys 180 degree panoramic views across the Bristol Channel and Brean beach. Leading off the double French doors from the kitchen is a decked area offering seating for eight guests. To the rear of the garden is your very own barbecue lodge for all the family to enjoy.
    The stretch of sand between popular tourist destination Burnham-on-Sea and Brean Down is the second longest in Europe, and includes eight beaches. It is a huge draw for beach lovers, and the many campsites and parks that serve it prove its popularity! There are ’kiss-me-quick’ style family amusement parks offering rides, seaside entertainment and eating places, as well as picturesque National Trust managed coastline at Brean Down offering peace, tranquillity and miles of trails away from the busy seaside resorts of Weston-Super-Mare and Burnham-On-Sea.
    The local area offers a fun packed holiday for families, as well as the beaches of Burnham, Berrow and Brean offering a seaside sanctuary for those wishing to get away from it all.
    The Castle is situated at the end of the strip on the headland known as Brean Down. Here you can experience the 360 degree views over the sea on one side, and across the Somerset Levels on the other where on a clear day you can see both Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills. Wells, famous for its beautiful cathedral, boutique shops and restaurants, is within easy reach. Popular attractions nearby are Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and Glastonbury Tor.
