This light and spacious two bedroom lodge is situated on the beautiful Stonham Barns Leisure Park set in one hundred and ten acres of picturesque countryside. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with en-suite toilet, a further bedroom with two single beds, and a shower room. There is a fully fitted kitchen and the living area offers the perfect place to sit and read, watch TV or play family games. Outside is a terraced area and is the ideal place to sit and relax with a book and your favourite tipple.
    Stonham Barns has an array of activities to suit all ages; for the children there are amusements, adventure golf, play barn, and new for 2023 an Aqua Park. The two fishing lakes set in a tree-lined corner are fully stocked with a mixture of carp, tench and bream weighing up to 25lbs. The popular Suffolk Owl Sanctuary on site is home to over 80 owls and birds of prey, meerkats, ferrets, rabbits and red squirrels. Flying displays are held daily from Easter to September. There is a large bar/restaurant where you can watch sports, play darts, air hockey and amusement area for the children; there is also an outside garden area. Guests get a discount in the bar and restaurant.
    Why not pop along to the on-site theatre and watch a music act. Fancy a bit of retail therapy? There is an array of independent retailers on-site including hairdresser, tea pot pottery, café and antique centre. If you can tear yourself from Stonham Barns, then a visit to the Suffolk coast is a great way to spend a day. Southwold offers an array of independent shops and restaurants and is home to Adnams Brewery. Thorpeness, situated around the Mere has its Peter Pan themed islands, and Aldeburgh with its famous fish and chip shop. A town treasure trail is an ideal way to learn about the historic town of Bury St Edmunds.

    The cottage has been meticulously restored, the deep character and history has been rejuvenated to respect its heyday in the late 14th-century as a council meeting house at the hight of the wool trade. With vaulted ceilings, a variety of original period features, wood burner and private enclosed garden, this wonderful cottage resonates with old world rural charm and is the perfect place to escape the hectic modern world and explore the bucolic delights of Suffolk. The living room boasts a multitude of wooden beams, a rare arched door frame and a large inglenook fireplace with wood burner, perfect to snuggle beside on cooler evenings. The kitchen is well equipped to permit dining from home, and the stable doors opens into a private mature garden with a bricked terrace, and a small lawned area, perfect for alfresco dining. There is also the original well that has a safety grill fitted.
    Upstairs is an open plan drawing room, a perfect spot for reading, relaxing and working. In one corner of the wall there is a surviving patch of an original wall painting thought to be five-hundred years old. There are two equally impressive bedrooms, one with large super-king sized bed and the other having a king-sized double bed. The main bathroom has been cleverly configured around the architecture of the room, boasting an oval bath with shower over, and there is also a second separate toilet.
