Take a walk back into Llansteffan and enjoy some home cooking from one of the traditional Welsh eateries, accompanied by a locally brewed beer.

The picturesque Millennium Coastal Path is just a short drive away and offers miles of breathtaking coastline to the scenic Pembrey Country Park with its golden beaches, dry ski slope and horse riding trails. A trip to the coastal walled town of Tenby is around a 45-minute drive, here your family can discover the cobbled streets, take a boat trip to Caldey Island to see the Cistercian monks, take a swim or enjoy fish and chips on the harbour walls. Trefechan is a lovely, detached bungalow set a mile back from the local village of Pumpsaint. A great place to base yourself to explore the local countryside. It has a large, enclosed lawned garden for those bringing their dogs, there is also a field in which the dogs can run around. This property comprises of a large open plan living and dining room with views over the open countryside, a well-equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the other with two single beds. It has a bathroom with a shower over the bath. In the garden there is a private hot tub which overlooks the countryside.
The property is 6 miles from the town of Lampeter which has an abundance of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. There are plenty of activities in the area such as horse riding, taking a walk in Cae Hir Gardens and a must see is a visit to the Welsh Quilt Centre. Less than a mile from the property is the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and a great day out is to be had here. The town of Llandeilo is 12 miles away, which hosts many festivals such as the jazz and gin festivals, the town is full of boutique shops and restaurants. The award-winning Nation Show Caves for Wales are 20 miles from the property, a fabulous place to keep children and adults alike entertained for the whole day. Marros Hill Log Cabin is set within grounds of the owners small holding, nestled on the edge of the valley and enjoying sweeping views down across the Carmarthenshire countryside and out towards this beautiful coastline. Enjoy a short walk to the quaint hamlet of Marros or in 20 minutes you can be enjoying Marros beach which on low tide joins Pendine beach with 7 miles of golden sands all accessible on foot. Pendine is made famous for the land speed record, which was achieved by Malcolm Campbell; here you can step back in time at the Museum of Speed on the waterfront, enjoy the local traditional Welsh pub for an evening meal, breakfast at the café, and village shop with all the essentials.

This spacious detached log cabin is perfect for family and friends to enjoy, each bright and airy bedroom has been lovingly furnished with the master bedroom boasting countryside views, the open plan living and kitchen area offers the perfect social space whilst preparing that special meal. Enjoy an early morning coffee from the sun room and enjoy the sunrise and the plethora of bird life. Locally, the famous walled town of Tenby is within a 20-minute drive with cobbled streets, a stunning beach and boat trips to Caldey Island. Colby Woodland Gardens, a National Trust managed woodlands and craft centre, is sure to make for a fun day out.

The property comprises of a living room with a cosy wood burner and Smart TV, leading onto the dining room which looks out over the bay. The kitchen is well equipped and leads to the back garden. There is a second living room with a TV and double sofa bed. The bathroom has been renovated to a high standard and on the first floor is the master bedroom with views over the harbour, there is a great little window seat in this room. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom and again has views over the harbour.
This beautiful cottage has been renovated to a high standard throughout, the property overlooks the harbour of Burry Port, an ideal location to explore the area. Pembrey Country Park is a short distance from the property and a great day out for the family, there is also a dry ski slope here and toboggan run! The Gower Peninsula is approximately 20 miles from the property and Rhossilli Bay and Worms Head are a fantastic day out, walk out to Worms Head and you can see for miles, look out for the seals and the giant jellyfish that can be seen from the cliffs.
For those looking for some history, Kidwelly Castle is 5 miles from the property. There is an award winning golf course for those enthusiasts just 4 miles from the property, or walk across to the harbour and enjoy a light snack and drink in the local restaurant. You can also walk to the lighthouse, there are some lovely views to be had from here. For the cyclists in the group, why not make use of the miles of traffic-free cycle track that runs along the coastline and is literally on the doorstep. Beach 350 yards. This converted smart and spacious barn offers holidays in the beautiful Teifi Valley, close to the small village of Capel Iwan and the Cardigan Coast. One well behaved dog is welcome. This Teifi Valley barn is tastefully furnished throughout with three en-suite bedrooms (each with a TV), comfortable seating and a large TV in the roomy lounge which opens out into a smart and well-appointed kitchen. The town of Llandysul is a few minutes’ drive away by car with cafés, restaurants, pubs and supermarket, the historic market town of Newcastle Emlyn is 20 minutes’ drive away. There are over 60 miles of glorious coastline in Cardigan Bay with lots of beaches and coves, and many are dog friendly all year round if you are bringing your pet on holiday with you. The pretty coastal resort of New Quay and the colourful Georgian harbour town Aberaeron can be easily reached within a 30 minutes’ drive. If outdoor activities are your thing, there are plenty of options for walkers and cyclists of all abilities as well as horse riding, canoeing and more. Further afield there are plenty of places to visit for a day out, the picturesque village of Llandeilo, National show caves of Wales - Dan Yr Ogof, and beautiful waterfall walks at Ystradfellte. In under an hour by car there are some of Wales’ most beautiful beaches and seaside towns or just over an hour will get you to Tenby – Wales’ most popular seaside town!
