The Pavilion has been carefully renovated with you in mind offering spacious living areas, sumptuous bedrooms featuring en-suite bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with all amenities including a dishwasher. Outside, the enclosed garden and terrace overlooking the equestrian arena, amongst the backdrop of the beautiful Malvern Hills, makes the perfect place to kick back and unwind with a glass of wine following a busy day’s exploration.
The property is located in the grounds of Hillview Arena and Stables, and you are directly beside a bridle path. The owners offer riding holidays by prior arrangement. Here, your horse can be accommodated during your stay at the cottage, in the 12x12 stables or fenced turnout area. You would also have access to use of the two arenas and show jumps. Molton House was renovated in 2021 and offers a stunning holiday home. The owners have thought of every detail to give you the most luxurious stay. On the ground floor it features a sociable open plan kitchen/dining room with feature wood burner and a dining table for 10. Along with a utility room with cloakroom, spacious living room and a downstairs double bedroom. On the first floor you will find four further bedrooms, two with en-suites and a family bathroom, all adorned with the finest linens and comfiest beds for the perfect night’s sleep. Outside you will find a wrap-a-round garden with a generous-sized patio with views of the fields beyond, the area is ideal for taking in the evening sun with a glass of wine.

The suite is located within the main historic country manor house. The suite is located on the ground floor and has its own private entrance, approached along the part-gravel pathway. The country house is an elegant Georgian building from the Regency period dating from 1820 and was the historic manor court of the area. It is set in approximately 3 acres of the most peaceful grounds including woodland and has wonderful views of the hop vineyards and hills of the beautiful Teme Valley.

The cottages are operated by the Heart of England Forest charity’s wholly owned subsidiary, with all profits being Gift-Aided to the charity, so guests not only enjoy the woodland, but do so in the knowledge that they are supporting the growth of the country’s largest new native broadleaf forest. Both feature a lovely open plan sociable living space, well-equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms for that perfect night’s sleep, and each property benefits from a private terrace to enjoy the warmer days sitting and relaxing or dining al fresco with a refreshing glass of wine.

The Heart of England Forest spans over 7,000 acres and has ambitious plans to grow into a 30,000-acre contiguous native broadleaf woodland. The forest comprises a mosaic of habitats from flower-rich meadows to newly planted woodland, from ponds and other wetland areas to mature and ancient woodland. There are miles of public footpaths to explore and really discover the woodlands and getting back to nature. Walk out from the cottages straight down to the Noleham Brook and trace its path to the River Avon, following in the footsteps of otters, or wander over to Colletts Pond, teeming with a variety of bejewelled dragonflies and damselflies.

These cottages enable visitors to access the Heart of England Forest where you may spot one of the country’s rarest butterflies such as the purple emperor, catch a glimpse of one of several IUCN Red List birds of conservation concern, or just enjoy a stroll in the adjacent woodland marvelling at the dappled sunlight on tree leaves. Whichever direction you travel, you will enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery in England. Just under a mile is the charming village of Dorsington, surrounded by rolling hills and countryside. Just over 5 miles is the edge of the Cotswolds where you can drive through quintessentially English villages in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stopping off at various country pubs, tea rooms and independent shops. Some notable towns and villages worth a visit are Chipping Campden with its beautiful high street, Broadway where you can visit the Tower, Bourton-on-the-Water with the pretty River Windrush running through the centre, and Stow-on-the-Wold, another pretty centre with plenty of independent shops and eateries. Head east to Stratford-upon-Avon, 7 miles, with a wealth of attractions including William Shakespeare’s birthplace, the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, boat trips and hire, and many shops, bars, restaurants and other historic houses and sites.

For horse racing enthusiasts, you are spoilt for choice with racing at Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Cheltenham. For a day trip to London, Honeybourne station is just a 10-minute drive away with direct trains into London Paddington for alternative days out. Within an easy drive is historic Warwick, with its ancient castle and grounds, as well as Royal Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Droitwich Spa, Alcester and Henley-in-Arden. The National Exhibition Centre and Resort World is 30 miles to the north.

Calming Farrow and Ball paints feature throughout, stripped back wooden floors and high ceilings make for a calming retreat. Furnished with modern touches but withholding its original features, such high ceilings and its original working open fire. Courtyard Retreat is set within the grounds of a larger privately gated home and gardens.

Courtyare Retreat adjoins the owner’s home which is situated on the edge of Tenbury Wells. The ancient market town of Tenbury is set on the River Teme and was affectionately referred to by Queen Victoria as ’the town in the orchard’. It provides a range of interesting shops, cafés and pubs, whilst Ludlow, with its fine eateries and restaurants, is only a short drive away. For walkers, Titterstone Clee Hill offers spectacular views from its summits, or if you prefer a more leisurely stroll, there are plenty of country walks through the Teme Valley, renowned for its growing of hops and cider apples.
The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester are only a short drive away as are the National Trust properties of Berrington Hall and Croft Castle. Shop ½ mile, pub ¼ mile.

Castlemorton Common provides many lovely walks and cycle rides, part of which is a designated site of special scientific interest due to its vast array of wildlife, flora and fauna.

The beautiful Worcestershire town of Malvern dates to the Bronze Age and is situated on the eastern side of the dramatic Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the hills form a nine-mile range of ancient rock, which offers one hundred miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and long-distance views in all directions. The town holds antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers’ markets and many auctions throughout the year, as well as the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. The Malvern Theatre welcomes productions from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company, so why not take a trip to the theatre? Fishing and river cruises are available nearby and there are National Trust properties and gardens to visit in the area. Malvern has many individual shops, cafés, art galleries, restaurants, a luxurious spa, and is also home to the Three Counties Showground. It is the home of the Morgan car, which makes this area popular with enthusiasts.

The pretty town of Upton-upon-Severn lies on the banks of the River Severn and boasts a variety of delightful 17th-century buildings and attractive shops, including The Pudding Shop, traditional inns, cafés and its very own museum. It also plays host to many annual festivals, including jazz, folk and blues festivals, as well as the Sunshine Music Festival. This small, thriving town has its own marina, a vineyard and a well-stocked farm shop at the local fruit farm, plus the town’s medieval church, which is now a heritage centre, is topped by a striking 18th-century cupola, known locally as The Pepperpot. The picturesque Forest of Dean, with its range of attractions, is only 30 miles away, and the cathedral city of Worcester and waterfront city of Gloucester are also close by.
