There are some wonderful lanes and cycle routes to enjoy from the cottage and walks are in abundance. This area of Wales boasts fabulous days out, visit the majestic National Trust Powis Castle and gardens or enjoy a picnic by the sweeping shores of Lake Vyrnwy, an RSPB reserve, close to the Snowdonia National Park and the Berwyn Mountain range, both just a short drive away. You are ideally placed to explore the diverse countryside that the Welsh Marches offers with various outdoor activities such as canoeing, fishing, cycling, birdwatching and climbing.
