On Sunday 15th September 2024 the road outside Orchards Chapel will be closed for a motorsport rally event. For 3-4 hours in the morning, and again in the afternoon, cars will be coming past and there will be no access in or out. Outside these times access will be allowed with a residents’ pass which can be provided to guests. Marshalls will be available to give direction. This may be inconvenient but it should be quite a spectacle to see the rally. Normal rules of the road – including speed limits – have to be obeyed. In an emergency the race can be stopped, with the primary focus being on safety. Orchards Chapel owners are next door and will give assistance to guests where they can. There will be a ceremonial start in the centre of Ledbury on Saturday 14th September in the afternoon. That is about 10 minutes from Orchards Chapel and spectators will be able to watch the cars up close. The service area will be on Much Marcle Showground, only about 2 miles from Orchards Chapel. There will be managed spectator areas on Saturday and Sunday.   More information can be found at hillsfordstages.co.uk/residents/
