About this property

You can slow down and take it easy in the tranquil grounds of the super dog-friendly Rutland Hall Hotel - a blissful 19th-century bolthole with sleek interiors overlooking Rutland Water.

Set in over 65 acres of mature parkland - you and your best furry friend can enjoy a fabulous countryside break with sweeping views across Rutland Water. With space to play, beautiful grounds to explore and long countryside walks, Rutland Hall Hotel is the perfect retreat for your four-legged friend. The hotel offers a luxury spa, swimming pool, gym and gorgeous lodges and apartments in the house and grounds and you can also sample the delights of the newly opened Blossoms restaurant under Michelin trained chef Sumit Chakrabarty.

The hotel currently has renovation works taking place for its new events space, The Rutland Pavilion. This events space will be a new addition for weddings and big events, bookable from 2024, and with a capacity of up to 500. The hotel is also in the process of putting in a link road to improve the guest journey around the resort. This has removed the children’s play area.

Dine with Your Dog

You can dine with your dog in the lounge/bar area. Or you are welcome to leave your dog in the room if you would like to dine at the brand new Blossoms Restaurant serving refined international cuisine under executive head chef Sumit Chakrabarty who brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge gained working in Michelin-star establishments with some of the best chefs in the world.

Bow wow factor

Must be the amazing walks around the Rutland Water and the surrounding area plus the dog-friendly atmosphere.

Dog-Friendly Nearby

Walk with your dog around Rutland Water - walking a full circuit which takes in the Hambleton Peninsula covers some 24 miles. If you prefer a shorter walk around the Waters, start at Normanton and walk across the dam to Sykes Land and back. This route is flat and smooth and has fantastic views. Other options include walking across the grassy meadows of the dog-friendly Exton Park Estate and wonderful woodland walks at Fineshade Woods and Wakerley Great Woods.
