Cardigan, in Ceredigion, is a thriving market town on the River Teifi with a diverse range of businesses, including both distinctive local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, taverns, restaurants, and a beautiful ruined castle. Beautiful landscape surrounds Cardigan, and the rocky Pembrokeshire coastline is only a few miles away. Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas' Boat House in Laugharne, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon indoor waterpark, Folly Farm Zoo, and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, as well as a variety of castles, mills, and craft centres, are all within driving distance.
