The cottage is furnished to a high standard whilst retaining many of its original period features. The property is set in extensive grounds including woodlands and has a private garden with stunning views over the Uldale Fells. The gardens are continuous with the grounds of Ireby Grange Estate and there are no defining borders as a result. Guests are free to walk around the Estate which also includes Binsey Fell. The garden area is a haven for wildlife and the property is ideally placed to walk and explore. There is easy access to Binsey Fell and many other walking opportunities from the door. This property is of strong literary and historic interest.
