Nearby Kirton has a good range of amenities including shops and pubs which is only a 10-minute walk away. Situated in between the historic towns of Spalding and Boston, you can visit the famous Boston ’Stump’, enjoy numerous good restaurants, shops, cafés and bars as well as the weekly markets and river boat rides.
For days out, the seaside resort of Skegness is approx. 45 minutes, and Hunstanton in Norfolk about an hour’s drive. Major cities surrounding within a 35-mile radius. Nature reserves at Frampton RSPB (10 mins car journey) and Gibraltor Point offer opportunity to see the migrating birds and wildlife as well as many miles of excellent walks. For cycle enthusiasts, there are some great cycle routes close by. While you’re surrounding yourself in romantic luxury see if you can spot the abundance of wildlife, including, squirrels, owls, bats, dragonflies, rabbits, robins, woodpeckers, various birds of prey and the occasional muntjac deer.

This lovely barn conversion offers ground floor accommodation for up to 4 guests. Brook House Farm Cottage is situated on the owner’s farm which boasts its own horse stud and livery yard. The cottage building dates back to 1791 and was converted in 2008 to provide comfortable, modern accommodation.
There are lovely walks straight from the door into the Lincolnshire Wolds, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and plenty of cycle routes in abundance throughout the area. Motoring enthusiasts will enjoy Cadwell Park race circuit which is about a mile away. A half hour drive away, there are great days out to be had on the east coast, with miles of walks along award winning sandy beaches and the traditional resorts of Skegness, Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe.
The Lincolnshire Wolds market towns of Louth and Horncastle are both about 7 miles away and have a good selection of shops and amenities. Horncastle is well known for its range of antique and collectables shops. Inland is the city of Lincoln, about 30-minutes drive, with its famous cathedral and castle as well as the vibrant wharf area with restaurants and cafés to relax in and watch the world go by. WWII enthusiasts can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby and enjoy watching the Lancaster Bomber ’Just Jane’ doing taxi runs at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby about 15 minutes drive away.

Pankhurst is a lovely Victorian end terrace property close to the centre of the Wolds market town of Louth, which benefits from a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs all within a short walk. The property is located on a residential street so expect related sounds of people going about their normal day to day lives in this close knit community. Easy access to the main road networks means its less than a 30-minute drive to the sandy beaches of the east coast or even the breeding grounds for the seals at Donna Nook.
The traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe are both about a 30 minute drive. Inland, explore the villages of the Lincolnshire Wolds (Area of Outstanding natural beauty), visit the cathedral city of Lincoln or have a day out at the nearby racing circuit of Cadwell Park, often referred to as the mini Nurbergring. Cyclists will love the challenging hills of the Wolds or the flatter routes towards the east. There is also very good walking to be found in the local area. Beach 15 miles. There is something for everyone to enjoy in the area; catch the bus to Fantasy island, Butlins or into the seaside resort of Skegness with its funfair, amusements, seal sanctuary, aquarium and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Or travel in the other direction to Chapel St Leonards with its shops and amusements, Seascape Café where you watch the sun rise and set, Anderby Creek, as well as Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe all along the coast to the north. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door and you can return in the evenings to the luxury and comfort of Sycamore Lodge to relax in front of your tv, or sit back in the garden and gaze at the rolling hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds in the distance. There is horse riding and coarse fishing nearby with the pub and shop 500 yds away.

Inland 25 minutes away is the cathedral city of Lincoln, rich in history combined with independent boutique shopping, great arts and culture and many places to eat and drink while exploring. And after your days spent exploring or relaxing you can return to your cottage to relax with food and drink available through a private gate at the end of your garden.
