Sandilands has been popular for many generations of families to visit the coast and this lovely bungalow is situated in a quiet residential area approximately 500 yards walk from the beach – you can see the dunes from the back garden. Within a short walk is the beach, shop, pub, nature reserve and Sandilands colourful beach huts. For days out you can walk or cycle along the seafront to Sutton on Sea or further on to the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe. A bus trip takes you along the coast to Anderby Creek, the café/observatory at Huttoft or stop at Chapel St Leonards. Fantasy Island, Butlins and Skegness are all within 30 minutes’ drive for family days out or enjoy the bus ride to them along the coast. This lovely one bedroomed barn conversion is ideal for for adults looking for a quiet break close to the coast and the small seaside town of Sutton on Sea, well known for its award-winning sandy beaches. This is the perfect getaway for those who love to get out and about! On-site there is a touring site for adults only, and two coarse fishing lakes with fishing included in your stay.
Just over a mile from the beach, where a walk along the promenade takes you north to Mablethorpe and south to Sandilands, your furry friend will absolutely love the walk! There is also a variety of shops, restaurants, takeaway and bars to enjoy, who doesn’t love chips by the sea?!
Donna Nook seal breeding grounds are very popular to visit, with around 200 seal pups born each year, and you will also sometimes see them at Sutton on Sea just offshore or even sunbathing on the beach.
Inland are the market towns of Alford, about a 10-minute drive, and Louth, about 30 minutes’ drive, both with a range of shops and regular markets. Louth is well known for its range of small food shops selling local produce as well as three markets a week, the perfect shopping experience for the designated chef to show off their talent. Good walks and cycle routes throughout the area with miles of unspoilt sandy beaches to stroll along. Shops, pub, restaurant and beach 1.4 miles.

Rosery is just a 300-yard walk from the beach with a park, play area and paddling pools on the way to the promenade. This will make the property very popular with families wanting to have that traditional seaside holiday. There is plenty of space for all the family, with an enclosed south-facing garden as well to enjoy.
A short stroll takes you into the centre of this popular, traditional resort with its fairground, amusements, seaside shops and supermarkets, as well as a range of restaurants, takeaways and pubs to enjoy meals and drinks out.
Donna Nook is a 15-minute drive north along the coast, and is worth visiting in the seal breeding season during the winter months where there are often around 2000 pups born. They are also frequently spotted along this stretch as you stroll along the beach.
You can catch the coastal bus which will take you for family days out at Butlin’s, Fantasy island or into Skegness, with its pier, where there is something for all the family to enjoy. Pub within 1 mile.

Visitors can enjoy watching the seals at Donna Nook, and cycling, walking, golf, and birdwatching are all popular pastimes locally. Contrasting pleasures of family fun at Skegness and the wildlife of the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve are found 10 miles away, whilst historic Lincoln, with its soaring cathedral, cobbled streets, interesting shops, and Christmas markets, is an easy drive, as are the beautiful Wolds and their delightful market towns. Nearby is a café at Huttoft next to the beach with a viewing area where you can enjoy superb views along the coastline and inland over the fields towards the Lincolnshire Wolds. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole links courses at North Shore and Seacroft golf courses in Skegness only a short drive away. Enjoy a drive around the Lincolnshire Wolds where the local towns have regular market days. Horncastle and Alford also enjoy a good selection of antiques and collectables shops. Butlins and Fantasy Island Theme Park are both only a short drive along the coast with the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe nearby too. The main bus route runs close by and you can travel to the larger seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Skegness, as well as family days out at Butlin’s or Fantasy Island.
