This immaculately presented waterside home, set in the much sought-after residential area of Ocean Way, Pennar, is perched high above the Milford Haven waterway, near Pembroke Dock.
Soak up the atmosphere from your hot tub on the balcony, the unique vantage point high above the water will give you the opportunity to watch the boats, ships and ferries coming and going from the historic Royal Dockyard below. During winter afternoons and evenings, feel cosy inside with some storm watching by the wood-effect gas burner for some close to the elements allure. The lovely countryside of Pembrokeshire and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is accessible via the nearby coastal path and there are many beautiful beaches within a short driving distance.

Heritage Lodge is centrally located making it an ideal base from which you can stroll down to the beach or wander into town where you will find a good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants. The property is one hour away from Liverpool city centre, by direct train link. The property is situated next to a beautiful, large church and is constructed in the same style.
This welcoming, four-bedroom period style property boasts two large reception rooms offering comfortable sofas and Smart TV. One features an open fire, creating a cosy space to gather in the evenings. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cook up a family feast with range style double oven, grill and seven hobs. There is also a dishwasher to assist with the clean up too. The dining room with ornate fireplace, electric fire and dresser stocked with crockery, provides an elegant dining experience comfortably seating ten. The brightly coloured playroom just off the courtyard is always a hit with children. There are a multitude of toys available for all ages, plenty to keep younger family members entertained even on rainy days. There is also a dartboard available for older kids. A wet-room style bathroom with shower, basin and toilet is located here, alongside a utility room with a full-size fridge/freezer, washing machine, dryer, ironing board, and iron.
The courtyard/sunroom is a lovely quiet space to sit in peace and catch up on your reading. There is a small table and four chairs and a TV, as well as USB sockets, perfect if you need to charge your kindle or phone. Dogs are made very welcome at the property. Crates are provided, food/water bowls, blankets/throws, and ’I’m on holiday!’ tags for you to use free of charge during your stay. The doggy sofa with throw gives them a comfortable place to relax.
The impressive hallway beneath traditional beams and accompanying stain glass windows brings character and style. The staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find a further two bathrooms and four well-presented bedrooms. The rooms are configured as a super king, king, twin and bunk bed with double at the bottom. All provide a good night’s sleep with comfortable mattresses and quality bed linen. Smart TVs can be found in the super king and king room. Hairdryers can be found in bedrooms one and two. You will find plenty of storage with wardrobes, chest of drawers and rails. Also on this floor are two family bathrooms, the first offering full-sized bath with shower attachment, the second a walk-in shower room. Both have toilet, basin and heated towel rails.

Head outside to the paved, enclosed back garden, where you will find the hot tub. Boasting powerful jets and Bluetooth connections, you can relax in style, listening to your own music, while the lights all around the gazebo allow you to relax until late. Here you will find outdoor furniture for al fresco dining or your morning coffee. Off-road parking for up to three cars is available.

The lodge has the rare benefit of a large enclosed garden, along with decking and seating area to relax on after a day at the beach, which is walking distance away. Once inside you’re greeted by a very spacious open plan living space, there’s a quality leather corner sofa with oodles of space for all the family to relax and chat about the day. The two bedrooms have been furnished to a high standard to ensure you have a restful nights sleep, with quality mattresses and bedding, and one has its own en-suite toilet with sink.
Here you’re really in the heart of all North Wales has to offer, with lakes, coastal paths, Snowdonia and popular tourist towns all within easy reach. Dinas Dinlle beach is in walking distance from the lodge, with wonderful views across the bay to the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey. Caernarfon Castle, an imposing UNESCO World Heritage site, is under 8 miles and where Prince Charles took his investiture. Venture just a little further and you have Pwllheli, Criccieth and Porthmadog, home to the Welsh Highland Railway. There’s something for all ages in this diverse region and it would certainly be a break to remember. Beach ½ mile.

This lovely barn is on the edge of the family farm, which has been superbly restored in 2021 and extended to provide great family sized accommodation with space for everyone to enjoy. Ideal for families staying together with two separate staircases to the first floor, a large south facing patio with 15ft swim spa, as well as a lawned garden for fun family games.
Just 5 miles from the sandy beaches at Chapel St Leonards and within 15 minutes’ drive you have the traditional seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, Fantasy Island, Butlins, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and The Lincolnshire Wolds. A footpath through the field takes you to the village pub where you can have food, and is a 10-minute walk away, before you return to soak in the swim spa after a busy day out. For those wishing to enjoy a very popular gastro pub there is one at Skendleby approximately a 10-minute drive away.
You can even bring your family pets, with up to three dogs welcome, but please be aware there could be cattle or sheep in adjacent fields. There are very good walks from the door with the area also being very popular for cyclists. Beach 5 miles and pub 1 mile.

These beautifully renovated detached Welsh barns, Bryntowy (ref W43063), Ty Llo (ref W43266) and Coal House (ref W43267), stand a few yards apart, and a small terraced row of three (300 yards from the barns), comprising Wyth-y-Nant (ref W42214) and Hawton (ref W41830), both end terraced properties. All welcome children, and provide a travel cot and highchair; Bryntowy also supplies as baby bath on request. They are all situated on Carmarthen Bay in the coastal setting between Ferryside and Kidwelly. Tastefully decorated throughout, each bursts with character including original stone walls and beams.
Close to the historic castle at Kidwelly and just a short drive to Carmarthen. Beaches at Ferryside, Pembrey and Llanstephan are all within easy driving distance. Enjoy a day at Fos Las racecourse, only a 15-minute drive. The holiday cottages provide an ideal location from which to enjoy the sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and the Gower, the latter renowned for being Britain’s first AONB. Spend your days exploring the historic town of Laugharne, famously known for the iconic boathouse of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, and visit the castle and traditional Welsh pubs where fresh fish is always on the menu. High Park House is the perfect venue for a large family holiday or group reunions/getaways. Built in 1845 High Park House features on the ground floor two living rooms with cosy wood burners and smart TVs, a formal dining room, a large kitchen/diner perfect for creating holiday feasts. There’s also a utility room, a handy separate toilet and a boot room. And for some family fun there’s a games room with a pool table. Up on the first floor are seven bedrooms with five en-suites, to comfortably sleep sixteen guests. Within the grounds is an indoor swimming pool and hot tub which can be booked for exclusive use and a large natural lake with a decked terrace, to the front of the house is a large private lawn area and ample parking.
High Park House offers easy access to beaches, moors, golf courses, children friendly fun parks, and many other recreational activities. Bideford is the second largest town in North Devon with plenty to see and do including a lovely river front and port. The Southwest Coastal Path is a must for keen walkers and runners, as is the popular Tarka Trail, which stretches for c.180 miles and can be accessed locally. Swimming, surfing, canoeing and entertainment for all the family plus fishing are all close by. For a day with a difference why not take a trip across to Lundy Island? With regular trips from Bideford, measuring just 3 miles by ¾ mile, this entire island has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
