Welcome to Bunny Meadows, here you will enjoy the freedom of a country holiday in a large detached, tastefully decorated farmhouse with a good standard throughout. A truly home from home experience providing en-suite bedrooms, every room being well-equipped and thought out with plenty of space and providing a relaxing atmosphere. Bedroom 4 and 5, on the first floor have interlinking doors, great for families with small children. It is the perfect location for a family get together to remember, with your own private paddock to enjoy with glorious views across the owner’s horse farm.
Bunny Meadows has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated throughout with soft furnishings. No expense has been spared on the comfortable beds and of course those little touches which will make your holiday extra special, including the huge farmhouse kitchen with Range cooker. For alfresco dining a barbecue can be found on the patio, or stretch your legs around your private paddock and enjoy the freedom which it offers.
Not too near but not too far, Bunny Meadows is surrounded by a wealth of historic attractions and you will be centrally located for Pembrokeshire and the whole of south Wales. The Gower has lots to offer and many tourist attractions are only a short drive away. Locally the towns of Carmarthen and St Clears are only a 6 minute drive. The village shop, pub and restaurant are only 1½ miles….no hustle and bustle of busy tourist towns here!
Take a trip to Llanstephan and enjoy afternoon tea in the mansion house or walk on the sandy beach and then visit the castle. Only 15 minutes away is Laugharne, home of Dylan Thomas, again with a beautiful sandy beach and castle with a tearoom. There is also Pembrey Country Park or Heatherton and Oakwood theme parks to visit or for younger guests (and parents!) visit Folly Farm with lambs, all things fluffy and even tigers and giraffes. A short drive away is Skanda Vale a multi faith ashram which welcomes 90,000 pilgrims a year for those who need a peaceful retreat to stay whilst visiting the temples. Springer Cottage is a spacious mid terraced holiday cottage situated in the village of Llansteffan, which itself is nestled between the Towy Estuary with its glorious sandy beach and the rolling Welsh countryside. French doors extend the living space into a fully enclosed, landscaped rear garden which benefits from a sun trap patio area and a back gate leading to the beach and the village itself. Inside, facilities such as a dishwasher and pet room/utility room, along with an abundance of soft furnishings, make Springer Cottage a haven of comfort and convenience.

A superb base for exploring the sensational counties of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Just a 300 metre amble from the back gate takes you to the centre of the village with its pub and shop. The Norman Castle dominates the headland above its sandy beach, 12th century church and ancient streets, this place often feels suspended in time and is widely regarded as Wales’s best kept secret! With fantastic views across the Towy Estuary to the village of Ferryside, Llansteffan boasts a foodie pub, cafe and a fine restaurant; plenty of choice for re fuelling following coastal walks around the headland of Wharley Point to take in the sensational views of the Taf Estuary and Laugharne: Those in search of further gastronomic adventure must head for Laugharne: Once home to the Welsh writer, Dylan Thomas, it’s now home to numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes and galleries. Enjoy a a lunch time snack alongside the water at The Boat House Cafe, also part museum; this place was the last home of the much loved writer. Or feast on fine, locally sourced produce at Seaview, a splendid restaurant within what was once his first marital home in the town. With regular family friendly activities taking place at its magnificent medieval castle, Laugharne is a place you’ll want to visit time and time again. The county town of Carmarthen lies just 8 miles from Springer Cottage and offers plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries, cinema etc. The town lays claim to being the oldest in Wales and originates from AD75. A roman amphitheatre remains in the town, one of only 7 in the UK. Legend has it that Carmarthen was the home of Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian folklore; something lauded annually at a summer festival celebrating all things myth and magical at Carmarthen Park. The Angel Vaults Restaurant provides a great venue for lunches or evening meals for those exploring this intriguing county town. Whether returning from the ’Go Ape’ adventures at Pembrey Country Park, pony trekking across stunning beaches or a boat trip out of Tenby to the serenity of Caldey Island, you can’t fail to appreciate the comfort and convenience of Springer Cottage. Discover the charm and character of Ty Lewis Cottage nestled on the edge of the coastal village of Pwll complete with a village shop, traditional Welsh pub and walking distance to the Millennium coastal footpath that connects this stunning coastline. Here you can hire bikes or take a stroll from Llanelli, through Burry Port, Kidwelly and onto Ferryside taking in the Carmarthen Bay with lots of bird life and some stunning coves and beaches. This semi-detached cottage really does offer the perfect location to explore this wonderful area of Carmarthenshire. Close by, your family can enjoy the delights of Pembrey Country Park with 8 miles of golden sands of Cefn Siden beach, dry ski slope and acres of woodlands to explore.
Ty Lewis Cottage was once the family home and has been finished to an excellent standard with a spacious well-equipped kitchen with exposed stone walls and beams. This leads through to the warm and cosy living room, again retaining lots of character with exposed stone walls, beams, log burner and shutters. The bright and airy dining room is perfect for enjoying formal meals together with your friends and family. It is furnished with a large dining table, bookcase and a variety of books and games to enjoy with the whole family.
On the first floor, each bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind and decorated lovingly throughout. The master suite boasts en-suite Jack and Jill facilities with bedroom two, and high quality linen make for the perfect night’s sleep. On those balmy summer days, enjoy some relaxation time with a good book by the fishpond, in this impeccably kept enclosed garden with a vast array of plants in bloom, and even a summer house complete, with a children‘s multi-games table, ideal for a competition.
Burry Port is also 5 minutes away where you can admire the famous lighthouse, which dates back to 1842. It has become part of the landscape and is admired and photographed by so many. On the harbourside you can enjoy some refreshments in the café and take in the boats coming and going.
The cottage is located approximately 10 minutes from both Ashburnham and Machynys Golf Club, which is a Jack Nicklaus designed course and offers a spa and restaurant. Don’t miss the coastal resort of Tenby, a 50-minute drive away which offers the perfect day out. Folly Farm Zoo and Heatherton World of Adventure are both close by and great for all ages.

Come and enjoy all that Woodlands has to offer, nestled on the edge of the historic township of Laugharne within a wooded valley and just off the ’Grist’, the central hub of this truly charming town. It really does offer the perfect base to explore, enjoy a morning stroll with a coffee and a good book, and take a seat on the banks of the River Taf and take in the picture postcard views with Laugharne Castle, Dylan’s Boat House and Ferryside all in view. Laugharne was made famous by the poet Dylan Thomas, and to this day you can visit the Boat House which was once Dylan’s home, where he lived with his family, and which is now a museum, along with his writing shed, a must to visit. Within the town enjoy rambling around the Georgian townhouses and take in some of the fresh local produce and craft ales at some of fantastic eateries.

Woodlands has been lovingly restored by the current owners and they have retained all of the charm and character this property has to offer. This detached cottage has beamed ceilings and original wooden floors in the bedroom, and in the evening, enjoy cooking that special meal in the galley style kitchen which features granite work tops. Each bedroom has been furnished to a very good standard and again teaming with character, and the bathroom is complete with a roll-top bath and spacious shower.

A 5-minute drive away is the seaside resort of Pendine which is perfect for long walks, building sandcastles and exploring rook pools with your family. This 7 mile long beach is one of longest in West Wales, and where Malcolm Campbell set the world land speed record five times, hence its perfect for land sailing and kite buggying, or for a little relaxation try some fishing. The walled town of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only 30/40 minutes away and perfect for days out, along with Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park, and Folly Farm Zoo. Beach 5 miles. Pendegy Mill lies within a wooded valley on the edge of the rural village of Llanybri, nestled in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Sited a convenient distance from the historic coastal village of Llansteffan, it is just half a mile from the West Wales Coastal Path. These two beautiful cottages, situated next to the owners’ home, are the perfect base to explore all that Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire have to offer. Mill Cottage was a working water mill; the mill race running into the babbling stream flowing through the beautiful grounds out to the River Taff and into the Carmarthen Bay. These two Welsh stone barns, The Granary and Mill Cottage, have been lovingly restored and offer an idyllic holiday location. They have been finished to a very good standard throughout and have been thoughtfully furnished. On the ground floor is an open plan living space which is superb for social and family gatherings. Take in the coastal air outside in the shared lawns and garden - the perfect spot to dine al fresco and enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the BBQ.
Take a trip into nearby Llansteffan for freshly brewed coffee or travel back in time with a visit to Llansteffan Castle which is steeped in history, and boasts commanding views across the estuary of the River Towy and out towards the Gower Peninsula. Travelling west, a trip to Laugharne is a must. Here you can visit the house and writing shed of famous poet Dylan Thomas, or stop for a refreshing drink and meal at one of the local pubs he would often frequent. Further along this unique coastline is the village of Pendine, which boasts 7 miles of beautiful sandy beach where the land speed record was set in the famous car, Babs. The car was excavated from the Pendine Sands and can be seen today at the Museum of Speed in the town. Within a 40-minute drive you can visit Carmarthen, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, the famous walled seaside town of Tenby, or enjoy a day out at Wales’ largest theme park, Oakwood. Moss Cottage is situated in the heart of the coastal town of Burry Port, on the doorstep of the Millennium Coastal footpath that meanders through the stunning scenery of Llanelli through to the historic town of Kidwelly. Lovingly restored, this terraced cottage has retained all of the property’s original charm and character, with an open plan living/dining room complete with a focal inglenook fireplace and a great sociable kitchen/breakfast room. On the first floor, the character continues with original stripped back floor boards and a restored feature fireplace within the master bedroom. The two double bedrooms also boast sea views. Make the most of the balmy summer days on the enclosed courtyard, while a few steps further away there is a lawned garden to enjoy. There is an in house gallery which supports local artists, pictures can be purchased from the owner.
With the beautiful Gower to the east and Pembrokeshire to the west, Moss Cottage is perfectly positioned to explore south and west Wales, but there is also so much to discover within Carmarthenshire. It has it all - castles, gardens, beaches, unique towns, varied landscapes and an overwhelming choice of activities. Enjoy a plethora of traditional Welsh pubs specialising in organic and home cooked food. 6 miles away is Pembrey Country Park and beach, with 550 acres of woodland, Segway and cycle hire, pitch and putt, nature trails, a dry ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales. Explore the history of the area and visit Kidwelly Castle, Laugharne Castle and Dylan Thomas Boat House. The National Botanic Garden of Wales, with a huge glass dome, is perfect for a day out whatever the weather, or discover a wide range of wildlife at the Llanelli Wetland Centre. One of the oldest towns, Carmarthen, is easily accessible by car, and horse racing enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to Ffos Las Racecourse.
