Bedw Lodge (UK32021) and Glyn Haul (UK32022) have been built and furnished in 2020 to a high standard and they have beautiful views with decking and a garden for your four legged friends. Both properties have an outside marble bath tub perfect for gazing at the stars in the evening with a glass of wine. There is plenty to see and do in the area and it is an ideal location for exploring the borderlands of England and Wales, which is an area of pretty countryside and charming market towns. Llanidloes is a typical market town where local goods and produce are readily available, and the town itself boasts plenty of good quality restaurants and bars. Superb walking and cycling is available locally. The lodges are located 150 yards from cycle route 81 so it’s an ideal base for those exploring on two wheels. Llanidloes has over 30 separate way marked walking routes starting from the town centre. The spectacular scenery at Llyn Clywedog, a man-made reservoir just above the town along with Hafren Forest where you will find the source of the River Severn, also affords wonderful walking opportunities. The magnificent Elan Valley reservoirs are just 35 minutes away. And if mountains are your thing, Cadair Idris can be reached in under 1hour, Snowdonia in under 2 hours, and the Brecon Beacons in approximately 1hour 20minutes. Set in an elevated position enjoying beautiful views of the Mid Wales countryside. Peacefully located just 1½ miles from the centre of Newtown, a bustling market town situated on the banks of the River Severn famous for its arts and music, with museums, art galleries and a theatre, as well as providing a wealth of shopping and dining opportunities.

This lovely lodge is set next to another lodge on site (UK35188- Hillside Hideaway). This is also wonderful walking and birdwatching country with numerous activities available nearby including golf, fishing and riding - a perfect location for exploring the borderlands of England and Wales, southern Snowdonia and Aberystwth’s seaside attractions.

On site the owners have a fantastic herd of Alpacas and they offer guests the opportunity to participate in alpaca trekking around the land that surrounds the properties. This needs to be booked direct with the owner and paid for in advance. The land that surrounds the lodges is elevated and takes in stunning views which guests can use to relax in. Set on one level, this property is fully open plan. The kitchen includes fridge, electric cooker, hob and sink and there is a dining table within the lodge. There are three single beds and a shower room which includes a shower cubicle, toilet and sink. There is a private sitting area with garden furniture to the front of the property with a barbecue. A breakfast hamper made up of local produce is available on request at £6 per person (minimum order for 2).

The main living space is an open plan living room with high ceilings, soft furniture, and a pleasing contemporary décor, where guests often tend to congregate in front of the Netflix-enabled Smart TV or peer out of folding doors onto the outdoor patio space. Like the kitchen, this space benefits from underfloor heating throughout. On the same level, the kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to prepare meals for the loved ones who you are sharing the house with, as well as a Smart TV and your own coffee machine, plus a dishwasher. The dining area is also integrated in this large open space, to enjoy meals, or a great spot to share a few beers and relax at the end of the day. On the same floor the cottage benefits from a double bedroom, with a double bed. There is also a wet room next door with underfloor heating. The remaining four bedrooms are located on the first floor, a double room with two single beds and Smart TV with the family bathroom next door and an ultra-lush slipper bathtub. The second bedroom being the master with king size bed, and en-suite featuring a walk-in rain shower. The remaining two bedrooms are doubles both with double beds, one with an en-suite shower room. All four bedrooms, benefit from tons of natural light giving an airy feel with fantastic views of the countryside. Outside a spacious lawn is great for romping around, plus a patio with garden furniture for enjoying a glass of wine, and a BBQ or simply watching the sun set over the distant hills.

Situated on the banks of the Severn between Llanidloes and Newtown, Caersws is the perfect location to stay and explore mid Wales from Powysland Museum in Welshpool to Treasure trails, scenic rail tours, castles, and many cycle routes there is so much to see and do. Step through the door and you’ll be wowed by the beautiful interior of this lovely ground-floor holiday accommodation. Everywhere you look, you’ll be delighted with the well-thought-out living spaces and fantastic finishing touches. The open-plan living space provides a sociable space for film nights in front of the media centre and stove, and meals together reminiscing over the day’s adventures. The large sliding patio door leads to a decking area which can be a lovely sun trap on warmer days where you can enjoy an evening drink or a family barbecue. The decking, which is for sole use of guests, looks over the communal courtyard, which features a lovely lantern. For the grown-up kids, there is a snug mezzanine area reached by a fixed ladder, the perfect place for chilling out. There are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the second with a single bed and pull-out trundle that can be made up as two singles or a double bed; there is also a ‘secret’ sleeping space with cabin-style bed accessed by a fixed ladder in this room.
Bramley is a lovely large village in north Hampshire boasting its own railway station, which is just a 10-minute walk from Lantern Lodge and connects you to Basingstoke and Reading. The village also offers a great bakery and pub. You can reach the larger towns of Basingstoke, 5 miles away, and Reading, 10 miles away, quite easily and they boast an array of local amenities, shopping, and a choice of eateries. There is much to explore in this area including The Vyne, a historic National Trust property, less than a mile away, which hosts events and outdoor concerts in its stunning grounds. Silchester Roman ruins, less than 4 miles away - a great dog walk too; Wellington country park, an award-winning destination for a family day out, Wellington farm shop and café selling locally sourced produce, both within 4 miles, Highclere Castle; made famous by the filming of Downton Abbey is 16 miles away. From the front it is deceptive, having been substantially extended, but once you approach the side entrance, the original features can be easily seen.
