Crackington Haven, EnglandMadison is a lovely Swedish designed, detached holiday property situated not far from the beach and benefiting from being just under 8 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude. The property can comfortably accommodate eight guests with all rooms on one level.
There are three bedrooms; one with a super kingsize bed, Smart TV and a lovely en-suite with a multi spray unit, double walk-in shower plus a bath and the other two both being twins (one with a handy sink in it). There’s also a family shower room, again with double walk-in shower. The living space consists of a comfortable living area with Smart TV, a separate dining room with a double sofa bed and a conservatory with seating, a telescope and access to the rear garden and patio. The kitchen/breakfast room offers everything you’ll need for your stay and the utility room has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and coffee machine.

Perranporth, EnglandThis property is situated in Perranporth, a seaside town on the north coast of Cornwall. The Annexe at Tenniside is a two-bedroom, ground floor property with its own parking and private garden. Located near a small stream and surrounded by woodland, you will find the beach to be a 10-minute walk away.
The property has everything that you would expect for a comfortable stay. The garden is very quiet and you can hear the water bubbling from the small stream. The owner has installed outdoor lighting and throws so you can enjoy the relaxing evenings whilst the little ones are tucked in bed. For those that are adventurous, why not lie in the hammock? The garden is full of colourful plants, and these are sold by the owner in the small stall on the road.
If you turn right out of the property you will see a huge tennis club, so for a small fee you can book the court, do not forget your rackets! A little further on is a very well-equipped play area for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. There is basketball and a football pitch, as well as a table tennis to use. A little further you will find the duck pond, a beautiful place to walk, with plenty of benches, rowing boats full of flowers, and the island has a lovely waterfall. Perranporth beach is a 3-mile stretch of sand, a fantastic place for the whole family. There is a tidal pool at Chapel Rock as well as a fantastic watering hole. The house stands on a hill overlooking the town of Lostwithiel, and was a gun site during the English Civil War. It was first known as St Faith’s House of Mercy, a refuge for ‘wayward girls’, who were rescued from Bodmin jail and put to work running a laundry which served Lanhydrock Estate and the local community.
The town of Lostwithiel is well known for being the centre of Cornwall’s antiques industry and is well served with great restaurants, local award winning pubs, craft shops and cafés on the River Fowey. This beautiful river is spanned by an ancient bridge with its own little beach and picnic area, and is within walking distance from Peregrine Hall. The riverside walks along its banks are a must, and if you are lucky you may see kingfishers, otters and other wildlife.
