From here, there are spectacular views of St Ives Harbour, Godrevy lighthouse, Gwithian and Hayle Towans.
St. Ives is a beautiful resort and can easily be accessed on foot via the South West Coastal Path or take the coastal train for spectacular clifftop views. St Ives has much more to offer than just beautiful beaches. Take a boat trip, wander around the shops or visit the Tate Gallery or Barbara Hepworth Museum. Cafés, restaurants and pubs are plentiful. For dogs, there are plenty of woods, coastal and scenic walks within easy distance of the cottage or take the South West Coastal Path to Porthkidney Beach which is dog friendly all year round. Meander along its narrow streets and browse many local shops, galleries and crafts shops whilst planning lunch in cafés and restaurants that overlook the estuary and out to sea. Activities include deep sea fishing, river kayaking, sailing and walking. For a more leisurely affair, a local hotel just minutes from the house has an impressive spa and indoor infinity pool for a day of pampering and relaxation. The dramatic north coast is within easy reach, where visitors can surf, watch the waves or visit many of the pretty harbour villages, such as Padstow, Port Isaac or St Ives, all essential ports of call for visitors to Cornwall.
