If you fancy crossing over the ‘border’ into Devon and enjoy open spaces then Dartmoor National Park is 33 miles or so to the east – here you can enjoy a day of walking and discover the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors.
