The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are both within 25 miles. There are many historic houses to visit close by including Cotehele, Lanhydrock and Antony. There is horse riding nearby, and golf courses within 20 miles include the ’course that Jack built’ at St Mellion, Looe Bindown and Lanhydrock. Liskeard sports a leisure centre with swimming pool, squash, indoor bowling, badminton and fitness suite. From Liskeard train station you can take the lovely branch line which runs down to Looe through the wooded East Looe Valley. Also on this level is a bedroom with a super kingsize bed which can be twin beds on request for maximum flexibility. The large ground floor bathroom has a generously sized shower and freestanding bath and is ideal for guests who may have mobility issues. Heading upstairs there are sloping ceilings throughout with some super skylights. Here you will find a shower room and the large master bedroom with its own balcony. Again, the kingsize bed offers the flexibility to be twin beds on request. You have a further bedroom comprising bunk bed and one single bed, creating a haven if you have younger members within your party. The Aviary has its own private garden with fire pit, seating and loungers, but furthermore there are 2 acres of garden (mainly lawn) with additional seating/fire pit which is shared with the other holiday lets.
