Something for all the family awaits you here at St Leonards. Choose one of the four lovely barn conversions for your family holiday and learn something new during your stay here. The barns are located on a horse riding school, where all the family are encouraged to give horse riding a try. Once in the saddle you will want to take it up when you get back home. The lovely heated outdoor swimming pool is a great hit with families with children, and the Jacuzzi and sauna are favourites with adults. St Leonards certainly is a holiday base with a difference, situated in a wooded valley, it provides a comfortable and relaxing holiday for people of all ages though out the entire year. All the cottages are set on the edge of a courtyard over looking the stables and surrounded by 23 acres of private grounds which is also home to a ½-acre coarse fishing lake, or for something more energetic why not take part in a game of paintball available on site. There is plenty of birdlife here including kingfishers, so you often awaken to the sound of the dawn chorus!

It is an ideal location for touring the both north and south Cornish coasts and close to the Devon/Cornwall border so you can explore both counties from one base. Whether you wish to take it easy in our pool and bbq area, have a swim, ride a horse, try paintball or even go fishing on the River Kensey close by, there is plenty to keep you entertained and make you want to get out and about and feel invigorated by the fresh Cornish air. Perfect for summer, spring, autumn or even winter holidays, all the cottages have been very comfortably furnished and equipped, featuring pine furniture, comfortable beds and woodburners, making them a cosy and welcome home to come back to.

Out and about in the region you can head west by car to the Widemouth Heritage Coast and visit mystical Tintagel and Port Isaac Bay, or head east towards Dartmoor’s wilderness; whichever direction you travel in there is sure to be something new to see. Launceston, 2 miles, once the ancient capital of Cornwall, has shops, a steam railway, castle, golf and an indoor leisure centre. A variety of golf courses locally. This large, detached, timber eco-lodge is situated within the grounds of the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre, which has coarse fishing lakes (licence required), regular displays and over 100 birds of prey (£10pw for guests, open Easter to Oct). It is close to Padstow, Watergate Bay and Newquay’s many golden beachesl. Being close to the A39, Little Owl Lodge provides the perfect holiday base to enjoy this area of Cornwall or as a touring base to venture further afield. Just minutes away is a spa, along with a surf simulator and a restaurant run by an award-winning chef. Padstow is home to Rick Stein’s restaurant, and the start of the Camel Trail - a cycling and walking trail that hugs the shore of the river Camel, which are just minutes away and the perfect day out for the whole family. Newquay, with its surf culture and miles of golden beaches, provides the perfect facilities for that quintessential British seaside holiday. Several National Trust properties and gardens warrant a visit nearby, with the famous Eden Project, just a 30-minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are within reach. Rebuilt in the 1820s it is Grade II listed, together with the two bridges in the grounds – one of which forms part of the entrance drive. The manor house and coach house have been converted into apartments, all furnished and equipped to a very high standard, with many luxurious touches that will appeal to the most discerning of visitors. Access to the front door of the Manor is by three stone steps. Some of the accommodation features four poster beds, some offer spa baths and some offer saunas.
Heron is a first floor studio-style apartment, whilst Riverview and Riverbank enjoy a secluded position on the banks of the small cascading river, with pretty aspects across the river and parkland towards the lake – these two cottages include special features to make them suitable for wheelchair users.
Lakeview stands about 75 yards from the manor, in an enviable position overlooking the fishing lake, and enjoys particularly beautiful views from its first floor living room and large balcony.

It has often been said that Rosecraddoc Manor must be the nearest thing to paradise. The manor properties stand in 38 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, set around a lovely lake, stocked with carp, roach and bream. Rosecraddoc Manor features a variety of properties surrounding the historic Manor House to cater for all tastes whether classic, modern, cosy or cottage style is what you are looking for. The manor was built in the 1820s on the site of a much older house mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is Grade II listed, along with two bridges in the grounds, and has now been converted into these attractive apartments and cottages, making a perfect base for your Cornish holiday.

On site you can fish on the lake (bring own fishing licence, barbless hooks and landing nets must be used, please) or play tennis on the all weather court (smooth soled tennis shoes to be worn, not squash shoes; please bring your own racquets and tennis balls). If you can bear to leave this beautiful spot, just 2½ miles away in Liskeard there is a superb leisure complex, where you can enjoy squash, badminton, gym, indoor bowls and indoor leisure pools, which include a children’s pool and flume, as well as the main pool.

Within 4 miles you can explore Bodmin Moor, where you can go riding, walking or even try water sports on Siblyback Lake - wind surfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing are available. To the south, lovely sandy beaches and pretty fishing harbours lie along the coast. Several excellent golf courses can also be found in the area; and the Eden Project is only 20 miles away.

The Manor and the Coach House have been tastefully and sympathetically restored to please the most discerning guest. The cottages are refs B6859, CV7102, CV7103, CV17, CV13 and CV44. Some of the cottages are suitable for guests with disabilities (CV44 is designed for the convenience of visitors with disabilities, as well as able-bodied visitors), and ref B6859 boasts an American fridge/freezer. Access to the front door of the manor is by 3 stone steps. The apartments are refs CV14, CV20, CV11 and B4866 which are all on the first floor and ref CV12 is a ground floor apartment. Whichever you choose you will find it immaculately clean, with freshly laundered linen and tea towels. Please bring your own towels. Cot linen is not supplied. Cornwall is well known for its mild climate, but at Rosecraddoc Manor, even if it is cold outside, your accommodation will be warm and welcoming. These four holiday cottages, Sunrise (ref: 25051) and Sunny Skies, (ref: 25052) which stand detached, and Summer Breeze (ref: 25053) and Sunset (ref: 27684), which are semi-detached, enjoy a perfect location for exploring all corners of Cornwall from Lands End in the west to Padstow on the north coast and Fowey, Looe and Polperro on the completely different south coast. The beautiful gardens provide a peaceful haven with summerhouse and children’s play area. The cottages lie just minutes from the south coast including the fishing village of Mevagissey and the seafaring town of Fowey with its royal regatta and Du Maurier Festival (Daphne du Maurier made the town her home). Nearby are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the amazing Eden Project. Visit Truro, the capital of Cornwall with its Gothic cathedral, surrounded by narrow streets and alleyways lined with shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. St Austell Bay, just minutes away, has a stunning coastline which has pretty coastal towns and villages dotted along its edge. Charlestown is home to a collection of tall sailing ships, an historic harbour and Georgian architecture, all of which have been used as film and TV sets over many years. Porthpean has a lovely unspoilt beach, golf club and views across the bay. Visit Pentewan with picturesque cycle and walking trail along a river and through a 450-year-old woodland. Cycle hire is available from Easter onwards and there are several golf courses nearby. Fishing is also available locally. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub 1 mile.

This cosy holiday bungalow is ideally located for touring the North Cornwall Coast. Set within the grounds of Perrranview Holiday Park, it has many facilities to offer (Apr-Oct), including an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and crazy golf (£20pw, £10 per short break for a family of any size). There are also restaurant and bar facilities. The three miles of sandy beach and golf course at Perranporth is just 2 miles. Newquay is 6 miles and offers nightlife, shopping, restaurants, beaches and surf schools. Truro is only a few miles away with a cathedral, museum, theatre and a cinema, whilst Falmouth with its picturesque harbour offers fishing trips and water sports. The Old Smithy is a deceptively spacious and very comfortable detached holiday property, sitting in the gorgeous hamlet of Penelewey on the outskirts of Feock, in a prestigious creek side location. Foodies love Falmouth, as it is home to many famous fish restaurants, great bars and cafés dotted along the marina. Events Square has many alfresco dining areas and stages high profile events throughout the year.

Take one of the ferries or water taxis to visit St Mawes, Flushing or the picturesque Helford River. Go on a wildlife safari to watch dolphins, basking sharks, seals and an abundance of marine wildlife. The area is great for golfers, walkers, sailors, water sports enthusiasts, or those seeking a relaxing holiday, soaking up some of Cornwall’s best beaches, including the award-winning Gyllyngvase Beach at Falmouth.

All feature a selection of local stone, slate and cedar and each has a carefully positioned patio and balcony. (The Haven cottages are all semi-detached, while Villa Gallery cottages are either semi-detached or detached).
