To the left of the hall is an attractive beamed sitting room where deep, comfortable sofas, low level lighting, large Smart TV and an open fireplace create a relaxed, welcoming ambience. The oldest part of the cottage dates from 1800 and has been converted skilfully into a living room with tasteful furnishings, original beams, exposed stone walls and a large fireplace with a multi-fuel burner. There is a large dining area adjacent to the living room and a kitchen which leads into a south-facing conservatory, ideal for breakfast and relaxing. There is a downstairs toilet and utility area. Upstairs has three large double bedrooms (two with en-suite showers) and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a 6ft zip and link bed which can be used as a double bed or two single beds. The Dyes, England 4.00This wonderful period detached cottage stands alone surrounded by its own large 3½-acre lawned garden and woodland, and boasts a tennis court and a games room in a separate annexe, with a full size snooker table (for adult use only), sauna, table tennis and football goals which can be set up in the garden. Guests should bring their own equipment for tennis and table tennis. Tucked away at the end of an unmade lane completely surrounded by woodland and countryside, the cottage’s location is perfect for nature lovers. It is also ideally located for exploring the North Norfolk coast and countryside. The area is famous for its natural sandy beaches, numerous National Trust properties, stately homes, RSPB birdwatching spots and outstanding nature reserves.
