The nearest beach is at Instow and is ideal for children or just a great place to walk off life’s stresses, and then enjoy a meal or drink at one of the pubs and restaurants along the front. The town of Great Torrington is only a short drive away and has most amenities you may require. The larger regional town of Barnstaple has a busy high street, the Pannier Market and famous Butchers Row. There are numerous places of interest close by including the RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. For the younger ones a visit to the Big Sheep or Milky Way Adventure Parks is a good option. There is walking on Dartmoor or hire a bike and cycle the Tarka Trail, and there is also golf and fishing available locally.

Diss, EnglandBressingham Hall is a fabulous and historic estate located in Norfolk. It was originally built in the late 17th century, with subsequent renovations and additions over the centuries. The estate has seen various owners and uses during its existence. One of its notable owners was the Reverend Richard Congreve, a key figure in the Victorian era who contributed significantly to the gardens at Bressingham. His passion for horticulture laid the foundation for the spectacular gardens that the estate is renowned for today.
This grand Grade II country house is complete with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, sleeping up to 21 guests. Having a sweeping staircase in the fabulous entrance hall, elegant rooms and beautiful grounds, this property is ideal for families to get together for special occasions and celebrations.
