There’s so much to explore in Cardigan Bay but if you want a day out to Pembrokeshire you can reach the well-known family attractions of Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo within an hour’s drive. Why not take a stroll along Lover’s Walk’ past four weirs and along the river valley to Llanachaeron? Or try a coastal clifftop walk with stunning sea views and spectacular wildlife.

To see where the earliest inhabitants of Aberystwyth lived, visit Pendinas hillfort, just to the south of today’s harbour. It overlooks the town and most of Cardigan Bay. Beautiful Ogmore-by-Sea is 5 miles away with its huge beach and fabulous sand dunes. The lovely beach at Southerndown is close by too. For the more adventurous, the go-karting centre is just 3 miles from the property, Margam Park with Go Ape is 12 miles away and there are some beautiful walks to be had at Margam Park.
