Outside is a sun terrace and on the other side of the quiet country road is a games room with table football and a small table tennis table, off street parking and a small private garden with seating area. The cottage is set in the delightful location of Gerrans Square, opposite the Royal Standard pub and Gerrans Church.
Turnpike Cottage is only a short, 5-minute walk down the hill to the pretty little harbour of Portscatho, where many artists have taken inspiration from the stunning location and superb light in the area. There are a number of delightful little galleries showcasing the work of various Cornish artists. The local public house is nestled in The Square and serves local ales and good pub grub all year round. Rosevine beach is dog friendly throughout the year and is just to the east of the village. It has beautiful golden sands and is over looked by the increasingly famous Hidden Hut. Portscatho, EnglandSeagreen Lodge is a tastefully decorated three bedroom lodge with a deck area leading down to a lawn, and a first floor balcony from the master bedroom. On the ground floor the open plan living space is warm and flooded with light from the patio doors leading out of the living area. There is a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up a holiday feast and a dining table to comfortably seat six, gather together and plan the next days adventure. Also on the ground floor are two of the bedrooms, one double and one twin, along with a delightful bathroom with nautical touches. The lodge is tucked away in the most secluded position with great uninterrupted sea views across fields from the sun deck, living area, and the master bedroom and balcony upstairs. These views stretch from Gull Rock and Nare Head to the East all the way around to the Southwest.
Set on the idyllic Trewince Manor Estate and located close to the harbour village of Portscatho. This beautiful estate has a creek on one side and the stunning Roseland coastline within an easy walk of the other. Trewince has a range of facilities including wonderful, expansive grounds. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and small gym for guests to use at no charge but which need to be booked at Reception. There is also a slipway (available for a fee) for the launching of boats by direct arrangement with Trewince Estate. The walks available from the Estate lead to the spectacular coastal footpath around the creeks and cliffs of the St Anthony headland.

- Portscatho, EnglandThe Bothy (CWC575120) is a semi-detached, listed cottage, nestled alongside the main farmhouse, with two bedrooms it is an ideal size for a small family yet not too big for a couple, the terrace is private and protected, you are bound to have pheasants wandering in front of the living room windows while you are kept cosy by the wood burning stove. At the same time, you can sit in the deep window seats watching yachts and ships pass by on the horizon. Lavender Cottage (CWC575149 was once the estate’s potting shed and is an oasis of calm. The private patio is a suntrap and overlooks the walled garden, the living room has a cosy fire and TV and excellent broadband, the kitchen is bright and airy and has French doors that open onto the patio. Upstairs is a cosy little bedroom and a bathroom. Overall, the cottage has plenty of character and charm; if you are after a romantic break, this is the perfect little cottage in the perfect location. Place Lodge (CWC575150) has traditional tall leaded windows; the living room is bright and airy and oozes character. There is a Victorian fireplace to warm up those chilly winter evenings, a spacious kitchen/dining room with an ornamental kitchen range and farmhouse table. There is also a shower room on the ground floor. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, a 5’ double, a twin bedroom, and a family bathroom and outside, to the rear, is a sunny sheltered patio.
Place Barton is located high on a ridge on St Anthony Headland and is part of the Place Estate, this is the perfect place to escape from reality there are few better places to enjoy the true beauty of the idyllic Roseland Peninsula. Surrounded by rolling rural landscapes, stunning walks with the best views of St Mawes, Place House, Pendennis Castle, Falmouth and the Carrick Roads. Explore St Anthony Head and the Lighthouse, famously used as the base for the TV series Fraggle Rock and also Molunan Beaches which are right by the lighthouse. As a bonus you can take the car down a private lane to within a couple of hundred yards of the beach, closer if you bring a 4x4, and are confident of its off-roading capability. The living room is on your left as you enter, a comfortable space to relax at the end of the day exploring, double doors take you through to the conservatory with further seating and French doors leading to the garden, perfect for al fresco dining. The dining room is to the right as you enter and leads through to the kitchen which is well-equipped and a dream to cook in, a utility room and family bathroom complete the ground floor. Stairs lead to the first floor landing with views over the rooftops out to the bay and glimpses of the sea. Made up of a cluster of cottages and a farm, this is the perfect place to escape from reality and enjoy the true beauty of the idyllic Roseland Peninsula. Mizpah is located at the end of a row of fishermen’s cottages accessed by a short footpath to the rear of the property from where the road runs out.
This is a traditional Cornish cottage which has been quietly upgraded by its loving owners. It is full of character with a wonderful dining room boasting a lovely old cast iron range with brass fittings and a bread oven, sadly not in use, and a flagstone floor. The cosy fireplace (coal only please) and electric central heating will keep you warm during the wild winter evenings and the lovely garden has plenty of space to enjoy during the summer, perfect for lighting the barbeque and dining al fresco. The fully fitted kitchen includes a lovely limestone floor and is a dream for any budding chef on holiday. On the first floor you will find the three beautifully decorated bedrooms, one double with kingsize bed, one twin room and one room with bunk beds which is ideal for younger children. Enjoy glimpses of the sea in distant views from the first floor bedrooms and step out of your door onto stunning walks.
